it's bittersweet in a way. On the one hand, we're glad to be rid of his salary and he never really worked out here the way we'd hoped. On the other hand, he was a good guy, never was a jerk about stuff. Wish him well...

Wish we could have gotten something for him from the Jets

Good news about Ogden. Kind of surprising and disappointing on Daniels because the team seemed so high on him. Guess that means Ross has a shot at making the 53-man?

I actually like IR-ing Daniels. There really wasn't room on the roster, and now he gets another redshirt year. Now there is room for Ross.

Why not a fan of Ross? He runs hard inside or out, can catch, and pass block?

It's funny - I was very dissapointed with Ross last pre-season and in his limited work in the regular season during BJ Sams' absence.

But this year, Ross looks like a different player. More explosive, hitting holes harder, very Maurice Jones-Drew, Darren Sproles-esque.

If he makes the team (and I belive he will), I think he can help us. He's got a lunch-pail mentality and work ethic that I like, and brings an explosiveness to the run game that has yet to surface with any of the other backs on this team. Granted his success has come in pre-season, but I DO like what I've seen a lot, and I think it could translate well to regular season action against the big boys.

As for Daniels, he has been completely invisible in his two years here. IR just serves as a continuation of that absence in my view. But by putting him on IR, at least you know they haven't given up on him completely.

Yep,just too many RB's to not have one of them come down with a mysterious injury for the year.

I really thought Vincent would be bring more to the table when he 1st arrived. He just doesn't fit in with the Ravens plan at this time. I'm sure someone else will sign him to a contract. Anyway wish Vincent Good Luck
