I love these report cards but, IMHO, you show clear bias against Boller. That pass to Darling was not Ill-advised, short maybe, not ill-advised. The pass to heap should have been caught he fired it between 2 defenders and hit Heap in the chest. Keep these coming but I just dont see what you saw, nor did the announcers on Sirius(afternoon Blitz) or the ESPN crew.

I agree with our nurse. Kyle deserved a much higher grade.

I also agree with Nurseman. Boller deserves a B+ and A for effort.

For once I agree with Raven Nurse. ;)

Also I understand the received wisdom on these boards is the play calling was terrible. . . But in defense of Billick in general:

Of course there was no rhythm on offense. We turned the ball over SIX TIMES! It's not like he called the "overthrow and interception" play, or the "put the ball on the grass" play!

And specifically in defense of the play call on 3d and 1 that has so many people worked up. . . The plan may have been, this pass play *should* get Mason open over the middle for a big gainer. If it fails, we are in a good position to punt it inside the 20 and their offense is getting nothing done. Did it work out? No. But hindsight is 20/20.

True that. It may not have been what I called, but the play as called worked. Mason was Wide open, and Mcnair simply missed him. As yoiu say, an incomplete, followed by a good Koch punt and the game is virtually over. It's pretty safe to say that Cincy wasn't going 90 yards down th efiedl at that point. They didn't get that many yards up to that point in the whole 2nd half.
