What sucks, is he could have been the guys to blitz and cover on 3rd downs. He has long arms, a good motor, and unfortunately glass knees, ankles, toes, etc.

Fragile.....hhhmmmmm, I think fragile pretty much sums up a guy who has been given a few years to get healthy and has had 4-5 major injuries. I cant think of another unproven player who has been given so much time to rehab, over and over and over and has not been cut. It is not personal but, it is what it is.

What on earth do you mean not cut? You don't cut injured players, that's what injured reserve is for, if you've got a talented guy (spending a 2nd rounder on a player suggestts you think he's got some talent). Injured reserve and the PUP list have been used to full effect with Cody, why would we cut him still in the knowledge that he has talent and when he gets healthy can help an NFL team, why would we want that to be anyone but us?

... and for a roster spot, you must cut a play who basically has not played one down for you in several years!!!

PUP-list / Injured Reserve does not count toward the 53-man roster so that's not a valid reason.
