If Cincy beat shitburgh this week, well that can light a fire under the ravens to start fresh.

That Mon. nighter would be for 1st place in the division. With three weeks playing the AFC north why now. As i said all season Pryce is the key.And Jarrett was playing the last couple of games with his hand down and we played better. But Pryce hopefully can come to the burgh healthy, and wreck havoc on pitt.

Tough road ahead, but not that hard if we can get healthy this week. Sweep the north, beat SEA, San D, and Miami that would be 11 wins. I guessing losses to NE and Indy. I don't think this is way off as some of you do. But i have hope if nothing else.

Now , i come here to hopefully be part of this family. I know we are ALL upset about something. we all agreed 4-3 wasn't what we hoped for. It's a bye and health is the #1 issue we have. Some will differ its play-calling. But if the stleeers lose to cincy, i forsee new found hunger in the ravens ,to win the north. To me our only shot to make the playoffs. Trust me living here all u hope for is the ravens sweeping the stleeres. Which can be done.

11-5 will get us in.my only think is , NE and indy are home games. But in prime time. We all know that record. But should've we win one of these?? I mean at home. Forget about the first half, let's show the support for the second half and hope we are healthy enough for this run. :jester: :hammer:

I pretty much agree with everything, except that I actually think 10-6 could win the division. I think the Steelers are a bit overrated, and beating them in Pittsburgh on MNF would be huge step toward getting there. I still think we match up pretty well with them, or at least we will if some of our injured players get back in time for that game.

You are absoultly right. pitt is the same team as last year. Even if they don't lose to cincy, that monday night game is just as huge. I even think the Indy game is a game we could win. They are beat up right now, Harrison is pretty mucha no factor this season. I agree I think 10-6 gets it done, shit maybe 9-7 after looking at pitts remaning schedule they could end up 8-8. Lets get healthy and enjoy a great second half!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's to hoping the Ravens come off this bye like they did last year. I just hope they can play well in primetime. Oh, and run the ball and take a few shots downfield and get healthy.

I can't see Cincy beating Shitsburgh. More importantly, everyone needs to look at how rediculously more easy the Stealers schedule is than ours. It is a joke the rest of the way with the exception of the pats. We have yet to play a good team and we are 4-3. We have played vs. 5 backup QB's in our 7 games. Reality is tough but as the coach says, it is what it is.

Anderson and Warner are not really backups and who cares about that, such a dumb argument. We have played our backup half the season also. Why can't you see cincy beating the squellers, neither team is very good, and cincy can atleast score at will.

Can you name these five backup QBs you think we've played against? Because if you can, your definition of a backup QB is different from the rest of the world.

1. Kellen Clemens 2. Kurt Warner is patched together with duct tape and formaldahyde 3. Trent Dilfer 4. Trent Edwards 5. Derek Anderson
Dumb argument huh? Just wait until Brady and Manning get ahold of our defense not to mention Carson Palmer. We have lost to Palmer 5 of the last 6 times we have played him- that's right- we have lost to Carson Palmer 5 of the last 6 freaking times we have played him. Wake up

I wasn't the one who said it was a dumb argument (does anyone pay attention to who writes what anymore?), I just asked you to name the so-called backups we've faced.

If Derek Anderson is Cleveland's backup, then who do you think their starting QB is? He's their starter -- he's started all but one game for them this season, and has done pretty well. He's a starter, get over it.

Trent Edwards has also been named the Bills starter. He started the season as a backup but he's their starter now, and Losman, who was the starter at the beginning of the season, is now the backup. Edwards is their starting QB, plain and simple. (And Losman is healthy now, so it's not an injury related move).

I don't even know why you brought Warner into this, since he didn't even start the game against us, but he did see some significant playing time, so I guess it's a valid point. But before Warner and Leinart both got hurt, the Cardinals were going into a two-QB system, so he wasn't really a backup (he's also a former league MVP, so it's not like he's some scrub).

I don't know why we're arguing about this anyway -- I agree with you about Carson Palmer, who has carved us up consistently. Hopefully we'll have a pass rush the next time we play them.

Sorry, we are stupid to be bickering about the QB's status. I guess my whole point is that we have not played anyone of significance, and we have looked bad in all 3 phases of the game. With the looming stretch of difficult games, it is hard to be optimistic about our team. I am still excited to see what happens. You just never know in this league.

Well, in an upset, we are in agreement here! We have lost games that I thought we would win, and should have won, so now our backs are to the wall. Yes, I know we are 4-3, it's not like we're out of it, but most of us (including me) thought we'd have a better record at this point.

But you're right, you just never know -- I heard or read recently that under Billick, we have never lost a game after a bye. I don't actually know if that's true or not, but if so, it's at least one encouraging sign.
