I was disapointed a Ravens players record was broken, but that guy is amazing. What a performance against a top D no less.

That "top D" gave up 378 rushing yards in one game.

Guess you could say it was "lights out". ;)

Well, I guess the stuff from Jamal's game is worthless now!!! I did hear he had 37 yards on 20 carries for 4 TD's yesterday in the Clowns OT win over Seattle.

Peter King wrote in his MMQB column on CNNSI that Peterson could have had a 300 yard game if not for the QB kneeling at the end. Jamal could have had over 300 yards, but he was taken out of the game, and it wasn't for just the last play of the game. I remember wondering why he wasn't given a few shots at 300, then taken out, but I guess Billick didn't want to embarrass the Browns.

Records are meant to be broken.
But in reality, Jamal would have SHATTERED the 300-yd barrier if Will Demps hadn't been called for a phantom illegal block during one of #31's many laps around M&T that day...:grbac:

Demps? I think that was Ismail, wasn't it? I don't think Demps would be playing offense, but I could be wrong?

Neither Demps (defensive player) or Ismail (was gone after 2001)
