Now we are known as the Ravens couple at the bar we go watch the games at – we have taken over a corner of the bar on Sunday now known as the Ravens Roost. Most of the folks there don’t recognize me when I’m not in a purple jersey.

This season we are planning on going down to the San Diego game and try to get to the 9ers game as well as soon as they set the dates we’ll make out vacation plans.

Season ticket holder from the beginning, I also went to many Colt games with my dad including the Colts championship game with the Raiders during the 1970 season, also saw the ghost to the post game. My favorite game was a late season 1976 (I think) game when Bert Jones clinced the AFC East title and most of the fans including myself stood on the field to watch the last quarter of the game.

In my opinion if given enough reps he would easily fill the ravens slot at #3 behind Boller..Fact is if Cullen gets enough reps he will make Troy Smith look a bit awkward if we compare size, speed, arm strength, rollout capability, and run as an option, and lastly heart..Cullen is a true athlete, bar non..had a lot to do with why Ozzie drafted this talent:)

Started following Paul Brown in the 40's the Clevelamd Browns were my team until they morphed into the Ravens. Followed the Raiders when they were here but was a Brown/Raven at heart.Never liked the Lambs . I'm Steve from London, I have just signed up for this board and found it looking for fellow UK Ravens fans. I have only seriously got into NFL in the last three years and have been following the Raven's as "my" team for that time.

I am not sure how much I will post as my knowledge is probably not up to most of yours on here, but I will enjoy any success as much as all of you and hopefully learn a lot from you all as well.

Just booked a days holiday for Monday so I don't have to go into work tired after watching our game on Sunday.

I received my membership approval and wanted to say I like (and respect) the temporary "new member restrictions." Take it from me, as I recently visited a Jets board in anticipation of yesterday's game. I knew going in that I'd be a "marked" woman, but the majority of posts directed to me were appalling. I think your idea of a "warm-up" period for new members is ingenious, frankly. :)

I've been a Ravens fan since they were established. Oddly enough, like effo5231, I found this site from the CBS sportsline Ravens boards. I couldn't take the amount of homers that were there from other teams. While I am a die-hard Ravens fan, I know how to have an intellectual convo, even with Steelers fans. Most of the NFL fans on the site do nothing but troll...and I need to get away from that.

Hi everyone. One of the many things I love about living in Utah is you can pretty much choose any NFL team you want. Because of geographical location there are a lot of Broncos fans here. We have a number of 49ers fans because of Steve Young, a lot of Chargers fans (not sure how but there are a lot here) and sadly, a lot of braindead rodent Steeler fans.

Anyway, in late 2006 I read a book called "Next Man Up: A Year Behind the Lines in Today's NFL" by John Feinstein. Before I read it I had casually followed the Broncos because they're the closest NFL team geographically, the Eagles because they had a lot of local players (Reno Mahe, Chad Lewis, Kevin Curtis), and the Redskins because my brother lived in the DC area for two years.

I loved what I read in the book and that got me interested in the Ravens organization. The more I followed the Ravens the more I liked what I saw. I like how Steve Bisciotti doesn't micromanage and doesn't demand the spotlight like Jerry Jones and some other owners. I like how Ozzie Newsome drafts. I like how the Ravens play blue-collar football and not pretty-boy finesse football like the Rams and Cowboys. I like how the Ravens have a reputation for being a team that is physical and a team that will punch your punk ass in the mouth. I like that there are local players on the roster (Haloti Ngata, Paul Kruger, Dennis Pitta). I like that the mascot is named after the Edgar Allen Poe poem. That, and I've always disliked the Steelers.

So, because of this I've been a Ravens fan since 2007 and a passionate die-hard Ravens fan since 2008.

I'm a Ravens fan based in the UK, who picked up the team through (tenuous) family connections to Maryland.

My first Ravens memory would be this (http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=251219033), Kyle Boller blowing the doors off GB on Monday Night Football. I remember thinking how great Boller looked - that soon wore off ;) and have been hooked since then.

Ravens fan for a very long time, but live in California so its hard to get to games. Was a member on the old boards, but due to children and work and many other things lost the link and well, that board moved.

Best Ravens memory: Being welcomed with open arms to a Ravens game in Baltimore September 2003 by members like AdminSteve, Crowdog89, and MisterT. You might remember that game as the one Jamal Lewis ran all over the Browns.

The Colts left Bmore when I was a kid, so for a while I was a Packers fan.

I was referred here by a really cool lady and diehard Ravens fan, Ravenmadness! :)

I'm a life-long Bills fan, but I'm also a Lee Evans fan, so I will drop in now and again to check up on my man. Right now he's injured, which is too bad.

Oh, yeah, I have a deep and abiding hatred for all the other teams in the AFC East, so I will be cheering you guys on whenever you play the Pats, Jests, or Carp.

Here's hoping that your situation changes. There has to be something good to say about P.G. County ... I just don't know what it is!

Great seeing all of the names of others I know on your member list. This looks to be an awesome forum and congrats to the Ravens for a great start to another NFL season.

Hey you all. Just wanted to say hello and thanks for having me to the forum. Sorry for the generic screen name but I do really love the game of football. NFL Red Zone rocks! I was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pa so I am by virtue of geographics a Steelers fan. Before you all pass any judgement or flame me please let me tell you that I am not here to troll. I have lurked on this forum and the Sun for the past couple years and really enjoy some of the posts and football discussions on this board and decided to sign up here. The mods seem to do a great job and this is really well run forum. "Filmstudy" is one of my favorites.

Why here you ask? Simply because some, if not most of the Steeler forums are too black and gold koolaid riddled. I also like keeping track of the top competition.

As for Ravens, congratulations on a very good start to the season. As usual the Ravens defense is top notch again. Ray Rice and Ray Lewis are my two favorite Ravens players with Suggs as well. I truly admire the way the Ravens operate from ownership to FO to coaching and players.

Heres to great season. Thanks for having me.

I grew up in Pasadena, MD but have not lived there since my team came to town in '96 but most of my family does. Spent a few years in St. Louis and currently live in the southern OBX, NC.
