Just like you would put any image on a post. Get the url of the image and insert it.

I actually saved that smiley on my image host, as it is my favorite.

One thing I wanted to mention, is that, hopefully the Admins can make a name to the smiley instead of a number so that as we get used to them, we can just type them out.

Also, there could be a glitch that needs to be worked out because when you click on a smiley, it puts it in the beginning of the whole post, and not at the end of a sentence where you want to use it.

Brandon: I'm not having that problem -- the smilies are inserted right where I have the cursor placed, using Explorer. I did encounter a problem similar to what you described earlier this year when I logged on from a Linux computer. :mrt:

My two cents: I'm willing to live with the rep points experiment, but I would discourage rewarding people for a high post count. The goal here is quality, not quantity. Anyone can post enough inoffensive drivel to get their numbers up without sacrificing their rep.

If you want some sort of seniority system, make it exactly that....reward people for time actively served.

Besides, some of us aren't up to posting 20 times a day like we used to. :p

If you think it is drivel then rate the post/poster poorly and their rep will go down. A lot of crap gives the poster a lot more opportunity for poor ratings as well.
