He'll still shred us with the short passes. Even when our D was #1, good QBs could work the underneath. Brady is a master at it, and wind won't affect those passes.

Billick will only give Willis 12 attempts and try to pass 45 times :261695: :261695:

yep and with a closed end stadium it wont effect much of the game except the really long passes, and kicks (fg, kickoffs punts). Youll get some swirling, but the difference in the winds between the tailgate lot and inside is quite a difference.

And I'll be sitting in the last row upper deck on the 40 freezing my ass off. I love football but this is going to suck being there. I expect to see alot of empty seats because of the weather and because of who we play.

As I said on another thread, they'll just do what we try to do...dink-and-dunk down the field and score TD's. It serves 2 purposes: kills the clock and minimizes the chances for INT's.....YOU'LL SEE!!!!

Thank you. Can't believe the amount of pessimism! Save that shit for when the game is over...at least enjoy the pregame hype while you can.

I'm not pessimistic, just realistic. Honestly, all the wind in the world will help us slow down/stop their passing attack and if we're going to beat them then this is our chance! Most teams can't run on us and they know that and will try and beat us at our own game, which is the dink-and-dunk!!! I just hope that Billick puts it in McGahee's hands to win it rather than Bollers.....

Thank GOD mcnair's not playing tonight.

Not to rip the guy, but can you imagine what his passes would look like in this wind?

The more I think about it, the more I realize we could actually win this game!!! If we play press D on the outside and keep a floating LB/NB in the middle for Welker, with that and the strong wind we could throw off their passing attack all together since it will mess up their timing......all we need is just a little pressure on the pretty boy and we might be able to pull this out, or at the least make it respectable.....

Dunno if we can win, but I feel good vibes about covering.

BTW - does anyone know what "kamakaze" literally translates into?

Kamikaze literally: "god-wind"; common translation: "divine wind"

Seems fitting doesn't it.

It is the 4th QTR, allow me to apologize for my pessimism. Win or lose.:)
