Did anyone hear the comment that Chris Berman made at the end of the half time show during Monday Night's game? As the half time show was wrapping up and they were getting ready to go back to the game for the second half, he said something to the effect "let's get ready to go back to Baltimore to watch the Patriots go to 12-0". It wasn't said as an offhand comment or anything, but almost like it was predetermined that the Patriots were going to win the game.

I didn't hear it, but I'm not surprised. The pregame show was all Patriots, all the time.
Eh . . . screw 'em all. We'll get them next year

What do you expect from ESPN? I am surprised it wasnt about Yanks Sawx at halftime.

Just another example of where the Ravens respect stands with the media.

I didn't hear him say anything close to that. He's a douchebag, but not that big of a douchebag. Maybe he said something about the Patriots struggling to get to 12-0. He talked up Boller and Mason before he sent it back to the stadium.

I met Berman once, way back in '92 when the O's were hosting the All-Star game. I worked at the MD Science Center, which was the site of the gala MLB has the night before the game. He, Peter Gammons, and I were in the elevator going up to the top floor, where I worked and where ESPN was staging their vantage point on the roof of the Science Center.
Anyway, Berman was a nice guy, quite friendly, Gammons, not so much. Gammons is such a Red Sox homer he shouldn't be allowed to report nationally.

What do you expect? I think Gammons has worked and lived in Boston most of his life. But in spite of that, I actually think he's pretty objective in his baseball reporting.
Berman probably is a nice guy, I don't doubt that, but he's become a blowhard on the air. His act got old a long time ago.

TT is right. Berman said nothing of the sort. He praised Boller and Mason as "always impressive", but didn't say anything about the Patriots winning the game.

I didn't hear anything like that, if anything I heard them saying maybe they should have picked Ravens over the Pats since they were the only team in the NFL to be holding the Pats to 10 points in the 1st half of a game.
I was watching the game on TiVo last night and got through half time. He said something to the effect that the stadium and the fans and the noise we bring were underrated. I thought he was complimentary, but I was fast forwarding a lot so I could have easily missed the comments SRF heard.

Please tell me why the Ravens should be respected in the media?

This clown [berman] is a first class front runner. When the 49ers won one of their Super Bowls Debartolo gave this front runner a Super Bowl ring.
