Fourth quarter clock management

Saw this stat in the Baltimore Sun in their quarter by quarter graphics.

In the 4th quarter the Ravens had 28 yards; the Saints had 174 yards.
Yet the Ravens had the ball for 10:31 and the Saints for 4:29

Give the coaches some credit for running time off the clock systematically even if we hate the prevent defense :179421:

It would appear the Ravens coaches are great at letting seconds tick off the clock in the 4th quarter, no matter what the situation is.
