Thats great for Ray and Ed. But exactly how did JO get in. I'm not knocking him but didn't miss the majority of the season.

The same reason Cal Ripken was voted into the All-Star game all those years when he had sub-par numbers. Name recognition and past accomplishments.

Or #92

Ngata was robbed for 2 reasons:

1) our dc plays him stupidly and doens't allow him to be as dominant as he should be

and

2) our team sucked.

He's better than Wilfork, if used correctly.

Funny, I never see Wilfork blitz from MLB or drop in to coverage...

Because Pro Bowl/All Star bids are nothing more than popularity contests. The more you hear a person's name from the media, the better chance they have to get in.

Not saying that JO or others hasn't been deserving. I just don't think this one for JO was deserved at all

Better than NONE of our guys get named - keeps their heads from being in the clouds, and stops them asking for even more $$$'s - just think salary cap!!

Ray has played well enough to go. Ed I'm not convinced. JO hasn't played well enough to go. I think Gregg, Ngata and Willis should be alternates. Suggs has had a bad year.

Just wanted to put out there that Ray and JO aren't alternates. Suggs and Stills are, but Ray, Ed and JO are all Pro Bowlers

I voted for Willis McGahee, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Haloti Ngata, and Jason Brown. I would have voted for Gregg but there are just too many outstanding DTs in the AFC (Stroud, Henderson, Hampton, Jamal Williams, Haynesworth... I can't remember which ones I ultimately had on my list).

There's no earthly reason for Ogden to be on the list. There should be a minimum number of games (10-12) you have to play during the season to qualify, and if you don't reach that number by season's end you don't go, regardless of voting.

Suggs has just sucked.

Figurs has good potential but both Cribbs and Leon Washington have been unreal this year... Figurs might make it sometime in the next few years.

I believe my ballot nailed all eight WRs correctly.

Listen, I agree with you about not moving Ngata to LB and such at times, but you've posted about it I'd swear 100 posts between the YBR and here.

Believe me, I don't like Ryan's schemes with the young secondary in, but I really see no point to mentioning it close to 100 times.
