I figured I'd post it here as an OT to get more response from it.

It seems people have mixed feelings on this movie. You either love it or hate it. Most love it. Many think it's the funniest movie in years.

Personally, I laughed my ass off but I felt disturbed walking out of the theater. I wasn't necessarily disturbed by some of the racist pigs featured in the movie so much as I was disturbed by how the people around me might have reacted to it. I imagine most (90% or so) liked it, but I thought that maybe 10% of the audience were real, genuine bigots that might have taken offense.

Oh, and it has one of the most disgusting, homoerotic scenes in the history of film. Still, it was hilarious.

One of the funniest movies ever. I cried from laughing so hard. Finally, Hollywood does it right.

Hilarious movie. Saw it on Friday and I've never experienced so much laughter, cringing and eeeewwwwing in a movie theater. Sacha Baron-Cohen really nails it.

I'm still having nightmares about that.

High five!

They've done an Ali G movie and a Borat movie, could Bruno be too far around the corner?

The first 30 minutes were hysterical, but it was way too long and repetitive. There was no reason for the excessive bathroom humor, which detracted from an otherise funny movie. It should have been a long Saturday Night Live skit.

I've never laughed so hard in a movie theater. The scenes at the high society dinner table and the mortgage bankers convention had me literally doubled over in my seat.

Very very funny but also a disturbing glimpse at the 'US and A'.

I thought it was funny for what it was. Some of the jokes seemed kind of repetitive and stupid to me (wasn't a fan of the bed and breakfast bit) but otherwise, it was a funny movie.

I did nearly cry out of sheer terror during the Borat-Azamat fight scene. One part in particular. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. Ack.

They've already confirmed they're working on one.
