CBS (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9784890): 3
ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking?season=2006&week=10): 7
Fox (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/powerRankings): 6
I think these are in the right range. We are not #1. I like 3 more than 7.
[OK, now find a way to attack my support of the Ravens on this one! ]

HOW CAN YOU NOT SAY WE SHOULD BE 1?
Seriously, I disagree in that I think we should be 7 point favorites in Nashville, I actually was thinking 9-13 would be the initial line. I rarely take the Ravens in the pick 5 but at 7 it might be tempting.
But I would never question your Ravens support. Your faith, maybe, support, no.

Don Banks also has Billick as Best Coach (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/don_banks/11/07/midseason/1.html) in the midseason

Once again, while it is true that numbers don't lie, they do not tell the whole story either.
I would not call our remaining schedule as the "easiest in the league."
We still have the Steelers twice, the Bengals, Falcons, Chiefs, and the Stains. That does not sound "easy" to me.

I disagree with the #3 spot on CBS. I know these things are based on a snap-shot of where the team is now and their strengths and weaknesses, but, the Broncos beat the Ravens and deserve to be ranked ahead of them. Not to mention that the Broncos look strong across the board.
If I were to make my own Power ranking I would probably have the Ravens at #5
#1 Colts
#2 Broncos
#3 Pats
#4 Bears
#5 Ravens
#6 NYG
etc
#32 Stealers *

I think that number 5 is a good assessment of us thus far...I could absolutely see us at #3 or higher in a few weeks

PurpleRulz has a point; the 'easy sched' rank is based on W-Ls. We have two games against the Squealers and rematches with the Bengals (in Cinci) and the Browns (always play us tough).

I am not going to argu the Ravens ranking, they are all pretty fair.
I did look at ESPN's closely. They have S.D. at #5. They have played 3 good teams (Ravens, Chiefs and Rams) and only beat the 1 (Rams). Of course there argument is 2 letters: L.T.
