Looks like Good Ol' Don Criqui will be announcing the game Sunday, He has to be the worst commentator I have ever heard. I remember the game where he called Ed Hartwell Ray Lewis numerous times, called us the Baltimore Raisins and said that Kyle Boller was the #1 overall pick in 2003 :grbac:
I guess CBS just can't let the old guys go.

CBS' coverage as a whole is terrible IMO. Their graphics, stats, and commentators are 2nd deck at best.

Yeah, well after 2 games I've had it with Stockton and Randy Cross. They seemed almost disappointed that Carson didn't carve us up. But what we're getting here at home is no better. I heard Gerry Sandusky refferring to Carson Palmer as Chad last week. It was right after the Samari/Reed TD. And I can't stand that sing-song voice. Just talk like a man.
any thoughts?

Couldn't have said it better. It's just not the same without Garceau. And has anyone heard from R Burnett? Did they can him?

It's alright for one week, the game vs. the Falcons should net Fox's best crew in Troy Aikman and Joe Buck.

I know, and somebody has to let that guy know that McNair plays for the Ravens now. He called Vince Young "Steve McNair" the entire game.

I said it in the 2nd quarter, Criqui is drinking. Calling VY McNair all day, and they talked thru the penalty on a kick-off. Never saw or heard about the penalty. Countless mistakes all day long. Hey Criqui.......Lay off the bottle till after the game.
I have to say that overall network coverage blows on Sunday afternoons. And the more cameras they have available the worse it is, because they feel compelled to give you a few plays from every angle. Here's a clue to you dumbass douchebag directors, the club level seats cost the most for a reason. Please don't give me views from the corner of an end zone. And those over the field cameras should only be used for replays when they provide some insight.
And the penalty on the kick off? Here I am trying to find out what happened when they are all too busy pimping some idiotic show I have no interest in. CALL THE FUCKING GAME AND DO THE ADS DURING BREAKS, DICK!

Well, tat's how they help pay for the 17.6 Billion they paid the NFL to carry the games. This is why we get the crap in the booth during ESPN's coverage, as they pimp the ABC's shows by bringing in a star.
They never even told us what happened to Mike Smith, I mean that was a critical game changing injury. There is no information from these idiots during the game. We had Dick Enberg a couple weeks ago & he was great.

I mean we have a good record, so we should get the good refs & the good announcers. We can't get neither.
Stockton sucks period & I hope Bisciotti does not bring him back to call our pre season games next year. The guy is terrible.
It was after safety on the free kick:
S.Koch kicks 47 yards from BLT 20 to TEN 33. B.Wade to TEN 42 for 9 yards (E.Oglesby).
PENALTY on BLT-D.Haley, Illegal Use of Hands, 5 yards, enforced at TEN 42.
None of our other kickoffs or punts had any penalties.

I swear they referred to Landry as Will Demps. I will watch it again tomorrow or Wednesday.

Steve Buerlein was slobbering all over the Ravens. Everything was "well you can't make these kinds of mistakes against the Ravens defense". It was a nice change of pace from Ian Eagle and Solomon Wilcotts who practically exploded with joy when the Browns and Chargers almost beat us.

Memo to CBS: How bout showing a replay when there is a personal foul penalty. CMac's headbutt, Ogden's forearm, Pashos' unsportmanlike.
Did we see any of these? If we did I missed it.
How bout Billick's responce to his penalty flag. That face was priceless.

Is there any chance we can get Criqui,Stockton and Manfra to do the game together? It would go down as the worst trio in history! Manfra can confuse the score and direction of the play while Criqui and Stockton can call us Raisins and Dawan Demps and Ray Hartwell. The cherry on top would be Bill Maas as sideline reporter! "These home teams love to play at home Dick"!
