I have been a fan of Kelly Gregg since he came here. The guy is all about efforet & never gives up. I thought he was going to rip off Vick's arm on that sack.

I used to watch a show on CN8 with Brian Baldinger( who is a very good analyst who actually watches film) and EVERY time the topic of the Ravens defense came up he said Kelly Greeg was the most underrated DT in the entire NFL.

He always used to say "when I put the film on,one guy that always jumps out at me is Kelly Gregg,how this guy hasnt made the Pro Bowl is beyond me,he is all over the place."

I know some of you folks gotta remember the CUT KELLY GREG!!! thread on YBR, waaaay back in the day. It was posted cuz Buddy Lee was the guy who rolled up Jamal's leg and blew out his ACL in training camp '01. :( IIRC, the thread hung around a good while...

...think 31 gms in the league are kicking themselves over missing this guy? (ditto BJ Sams!!!).
Bum Phillips used to say sometimes you have to 'coach'em up'. give credit to Rex Ryan & the D for developing this guy. I think we all know, some franchises don't want FAs to succeed cuz it makes their gms look bad for not drafting then, esp when the FA beats out the 2nd rounder.
