The Falcons generated just 3.6 yards per play in one of the Ravens best outings of the year. With a few exceptions, most of the D-Line padded their already impressive stats. For the game:

The diffenence between the sum of run and pss plays and total snaps is accepted penalties. Team stats don't exactly equate to sum of individual because opponent kneels do not count for individuals. The Falcons game had 1 kneel and 3 accepted penalties. For the Season:

Some observations:
1. Dan Cody got his first 14 NFL snaps, which resulted in 13 plays (5 rush for 6 yards and 8 pass attempts for -28 net yards) for a total of -22 yards. Nice coming out for Cody. He personally only contributed 1 assist, but was on the field for 3 of the Ravens sacks, plus an accepted holding penalty. I am confident he has moved permanently ahead of Edwards on the depth chart.
2. Gary Stills played significantly for the first time since the Cleveland game. Unfortunately, the result were not as good with the 3 rush and 7 pass plays (he was also in for 2 penalties) he was in for netting the Falcons 108 of their total of 182 yards for the day. Please don't get me wrong, Stills is a Pro Bowl caliber ST player (4 tackles vs. the Falcons), but while he and Ngata each registered 1 defensive tackle (and Stills was solo), there is a world of difference between the effectiveness of the two.
3. Ngata is impacting the game despite limited tackle production. His average yards per rush (2.9 on 134 rushing plays) is the best on the team (20+ rush attempts). In addition, opponents have not passed the ball effectively with him in there 5.2 YPP, lowest on the team with at least 20 pass plays against. I know he has not had a sack, but he's been in for 114 passing plays now, and whatever the opponents might do to take advantage of his inability to register sacks is not working.
4. It's nice to see Suggs come back with a good game. He again played every down, which I think is a mistake, but he seemed fresh this week, registering 4 tackles and his first sack since week 3. With Cody stepping up, we have some legitimate options to let him take some plays off.
5. Johnson and Cody were never on the field at the same time. Basically, Cody took over Johnson's old role as the 3rd speed rusher on passing downs, and Johnson moved to LB where he was not included on passing downs.
6. The Ravens used Pryce/Stills/Suggs or Cody/Pryce/Suggs on 21 plays, all of which were either 3rd downs or 2nd and long.
7. I don't really have anything to say about either Gregg or Pryce that you have not seen yourself. they are both having very good years and are deserving of the Pro Bowl. I'll probably have a visual memory of Gregg's sack of Vick for some time.
As usual, if you would like a copy of the excel spreadsheet, just send me a message. I am also looking for suggestions on anything else that should be counted.
