Ravens Intro Song?

Ok, I've been looking for this off and on for the past month or so...Does anyone know what artist does the song that's been played recently in the Ravens intro? It sounds like an 80s hair band, and I know it's based off "The Raven", since the chorus is "Quoth the Raven, Nevermore" repeated a few times.

I would email or call the Raven's marketing department and ask them. Is the song you are talking about have the lyrics "Here Comes the Raven"?

Honestly, I can't remember, since when I heard it, I was just hooting and hollering getting pumped up for the game :ww: Plus, I only had the chance to hear it twice (Preseason against the Eagles and our home Bengals game...we were late to the Patriots game so we didn't get to our seats until the 2nd play of the game). Thanks for the tip though.

Yes, and what a great album it is....I must find it on cd....I had it on lp back in the 70's.......

i made it into a ringtone...all my in-laws have the damn annoying Hail to the Redskins, and I'm tired of it, so I plan to blast the Ravens when I'm around them next.

I wonder who in the Ravens heiracrhy had the brains to find it? John Modell? And was it played before or after SB's takeover? It's a groundbreaking LP, circa 1975.

honestly, how many other songs about Ravens get someone pumped up in the intros? Most of the ones I found in my search were like one guy on an acoustic guitar, or something classical style...

I guess i must be drunk at the begining of the game, I always thought they were saying "baltimore ravens..." and now i find out its a real song and they are saying "quote the raven..." hahah I just thought they made the song up cuz they were saying "baltimore ravens...."

p.s. i would have never found that song since they only play like the last 1 minute of the song, the previous 3 mins everyone would be asleep in the stands!
