Well, we have never beaten KC and we are playing there so if I were a betting man (or woman), I'd probably pick the Chiefs too :bag:

ESPN never gives the Ravens any respect.

We couldn't be so lucky to have Bryany Gumbel removed from the NFL network.

Once upon a time there was this place called Lambeau Field.

This historic place also carried the mystique of being a place where visiting teams ran into voodoo where they found it to be impossible to win a game there if the weather got below a certain temperature level.

Then walked in a dome team in January (even bigger voodoo) led by Michael Vick.

The place ain't been right since!!

Shit Happens!!!

Quite frankly, I'm more concerned about playing against a team that has their backs to the wall in a must win situation then I am about the december history of the stadium.

When the schedule came out and I saw we were playing KC, I cringed . . . . they seem to have our number.

P.S. I never bet.

P.P.S. Anyone who knows me knows I'm always a little hinky before every game . . . . I'm just neurotic mess :nerd:

I mean, I know I'm new here. And I don't want to jeopardize the privilege of being here. And I've got nothing whatsoever against anything you've written. But seriously...can ANYBODY actually read what you post without being distracted by your av?

There is always a first time for everything, and the Ravens are overdue to beat Kansas City.

I think it will be a dog fight and the Ravens need to take the lead early, in order to take the crowd out of it.

If we can do this, we have a good chance to win, despite the long standing history of Arrowhead. After all, the stadium doesn't play, the players do.

We're talking about different players; different coaches; different circumstances. The way I see it, that "18 undefeated in December" string lies somewhere between probability/statistics and superstition. Besides, there's got to be some sort of probability formula that balances the 18-0 with the likelihood that it'll end eventually. And if there's one team that can put an end to it, at least defensively, it's the 2006 RAVENS!

GO RAVENS!!!

Well, they are 18-0 there for a few reasons. One, the place is damn loud. Two, they have had some good teams. Three, it can get damn cold there though that doesn't appear to be an issue this year.

I like our chances but I won't be shocked by a loss, either. I will be pissed, I will yell and cuss but won't be shocked.

I think coming off that turd we dropped in Cincy spells a tough day for the Chiefs. I expect a pissed off, rested and very physical Ravens team to show up tomorrow.

But seriously...can ANYBODY actually read what you post without being distracted by your av?
You should see the unsanitized version. That sign was photoshopped a bit bigger to cover up the young lady's boobie.

yowzers, lost my train of thought .... anyway.
I like what Rex Ryan said on Ravens Report.

"If we are as good as we think we are, then we can go into that stadium and beat a very good Cheifs team."

I'm subscribing to that logic, and thereby picked the Ravens in my pick-em league. I think this team is damn good.

Since you're so good at providing links, how about helping out the less computer savvy with a link to an unedited pic of Britney Spears?

You don't want to see an un-retouched picture of Britney, T. I saw one on a site called "celebrities without makeup" a few years back. Made me want to gag.

Bloated frowsy skank that looked 50 years older than her true age. I still shudder...

That's typical. Every talk show yahoo wants to be able to say I told you so when the unthinkable happens. If we lose to Cle and Buf I'll walk to Phi and kiss Eskin's ugly ass!

I don't care when we clinch. All we have to do is win out and we are AFCN Champs. I actually may have to consider rooting for the Bungles next week. A Ravens win and Colts loss would put us at at least the #2 seed, and possibly #1 if the Chargers lose (we have the head to head tiebreaker with them).

Gotta go for Cincy next week, unfortunately. The only way Cincy catches us is if we lose 2/3 games and they win out. One of those might happen, and I'm not going say which. #2 seed and a bye is much, much more important right now.

Sephy is 2 for 2 in my book: A Cincy win next week is definitely to our advantage, and Herm Edwards is one lousy coach.
