The Good:

1. 10-3! Did anyone have us at 10-3 going into this season. Most had us at best winning 10 games on the season.

2. With a Charger loss, we could get the TOP SEED!

3. Mark Clayton. On the scout board, someone mentioned that Clayton was no playmaker. :eyes: Clayton was so wide open that he could have moonwalked into the endzone.

4. Our defense is sick! There is no team including the Chargers that can macth us if we continue to play defense like this.

5. McNair. A steady game out of number 9, and those 3rd down QB sneaks are why Ray calls him a warrior. All McNair has to do from here on out is play smart football and we win the Super Bowl.

6. Jamal Lewis. Good (not great) running today. He gets 81 rushing yards.

7. Trevor Pryce. When we first signed Pryce, Rob Long said that we did not improve over Anthony Weaver. Long also said that Clayton would not amount to much as a NFL WR. Anyone wants Weaver over Pryce now?

8. Reed. 2 INTs!

The bad:

1. Penalties. We are penalty magnets right now, and instead of pissing about it, our defense must be careful and play smart football. The OL needs some extra practice time this week to work on how to lineup at the LOS.

2. Ed Reed has to be careful on taking huge chances.

The Ugly:

Who came up with the idea to play a cheesy bumper tune before every Chief's snap?? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard at a stadium. My goodness!!

The awesome:

"This is a Super Bowl candidate."
Dan Dierdorff, NFL on CBS on the Baltimore Ravens

BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

The ugly: Rob Long

The Chiefs music sounds like that Debbie Downer music they used to play on SNL. It is hilarious.

The bad

Not calling holding on KC against AD in the first quarter on that pass completion on the right side lines. How obvious was that!!

The call for impeding the punt receiver against us. Our guy was engaged by a blocker and moved to the side when he saw the KC's Hall. That should have been down on the 2 yd line!!

The good...

MCNAIR!! McNair played awsome (other than looking ugly at first going 1 for 4) and really moved the offense along. He was tremendous in the second half and made some great 3rd down conversions that kept us in the game! Thanks Steve.

DEFENSE!! They dominated KC. Other than the 1 long run by Larry Johnson...THEY HELD HIM IN CHECK!!! 2 int"s (in my prediction:) ), 5 sacks including a fumble, and our secondary controlling the KS Receivers!! GREAT JOB!!

What was the deal with that crappy Chiefs band?

The ugly: Special teams kick and punt returners fumbling and bobbling the ball. We really miss B.J. Sams

The good: The saviour as usual...he could have QB sneaked on the 31 endzone run...the clock crunching 4th quarter drive. Also, a much maligned 22 had a good game.

I don't think that was the band. I think that was some piped in "music" like a Baseball stadium.

Yuck. They need to 86 that.

Let me add this to the Good:

1. Ravens beat Arrowhead. While home field fans can affect the play on the field, they don't play the game. I loved seeing the color of those Arrowhead seats in the 4th quarter.

2. Demetrius Williams. Is there any way to get this guy more involved in the offense? I know the ball can only spread so far, but this kid always comes up with clutch catches.

The Bad: Missing that long second half drive because I was going through security at BWI. :eyes:

The Good: 10-3!!! :)

The good: the offensive line. No sacks for McNair, not much pressure either, time to hit checkdowns. Opened holes in the running game. Totally blasted a tired KC defense in the fourth quarter. These guys pitched a perfect game.

The bad: points left on the field. When we hit the playoffs, we can't afford to dominate a half and score only six points. Let's hope Billick can get up into the end zone more reliably in the future. Even if it means telling McNair to risk a pick to try to make a play in the end zone. Our defense can be trusted, but bad things happen. We need to give them 7 points to work with, early, when it comes time to pave the way to the big game.
