I'm coming back to visit the MD area, and want to grab some gear for me the wife and kiddies. Most of my current stuff was either given to me or bought at the Evil Empire (Wal-Mart) I'm looking to upgrade quality as well as quantity....without dropping mega $$$. I know the 'official' team stores are pricey. Anybody have any suggestions?? I'd rather not shop online, bad history with that. Thanks in advance.

I was going to recommend a place till I saw the political comment against Wal-Mart.

I'd recommend Dick's Sporting Goods. If you don't mind going online try Amazon.com which has the widest selection of Ravens gear online.

Technically...will be spending 2 weeks with the in-laws in Chambersburg, PA, but Frederick County also. Want to head east towards B'more, depends on gas prices how far east we get...(I'm only getting 11.6 mpg in my Excursion right now)...so I figure we'll at least make it to Westminster.
Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming if you can, the more places I can check out the better!! Gotta hook myself up so I can piss-off all my neighbors on 'Blue Fridays' :taz:

Baltimore Sports and Novelty in the St. Thomas shopping center on Reisterstown Rd.
Huge selection of Ravens, Orioles and Terps gear!
You can check out their inventory at www.baltimoresportsstore.com

I would have to say that the best place to purchase is outside the stadium before a game. Stands are set up everyplace and prices are great since everyone has to deal to sell. We set up near LOT H on Sharpe Street, however you can find stands on almost every major road.
Also, at Training Camp look for tents on Route 140 between Finksburg and Westminster.
Great Deals or Great Stuff!

When in Westminster go to the Town Mall. The Ravens have set up a store for training camp and there is another store in the mall that has many unusual items. Ex neon signs, easy chairs, slot machine, pool tables, bar stools and much more. It is a man cave owners dream.I live between Chambersburg and Frederick. Chmabersburg is inbreeder country all steelers crap and Fredneck is all Foreskins. Westminster is the closest friendly territory. Shortest trip is down I81 to PA 16 it turns into MD140 near Emmittsburg and goes right thru Westminster.

In Westminster, speaking jerseys specifically, I think your best bet is Shenk and Tittle, unless someone else knows of a Westminster place that sells jerseys. It's in the Town Center mall.
Speaking more about general apparel, you could always look at the Sears in the Mall (I don't know if Boscov's carries any Ravens stuff). Right outside Boscov's is the store mentioned by phatboy, it's like a Pool Table store but they have a pretty good amount of Ravens stuff, though it's mostly non clothes items.
Another place you could try, though I don't know if they'd have anything, is Play It Again Sports. It's in the Shoppers Warehouse plaza, and they sell used sporting goods and equipment stuff. Since it's the only real "Sporting Goods" place I can think of, I'll list it here.
I'd suggest somewhere in Hanover, PA, since it's not as far a drive, but I can't rememeber a major store that would have Raven apparel, other than Walmart.
