I know his performance againt Cinci was bad, but 4 weeks and zero INTs (longest stretch of Mac's career) is something worth handing out a Kudo over.

Yeah he got a couple of real lucky breaks against the Bengals, but luck is always a factor in the NFL.

Kudos to Mac.

OL protection means everything. Half the sacks of the previous best Ravens teams.

Play calling means everything for the OL protection.

QB pocket presence is nice too...that move he made to clear a passing lane on the TD to Clayton this week was a thing of beauty.

POCKET PRESENCE; GREAT DECISION MAKING (most of the time!); COOLNESS UNDER FIRE; GREAT PLAYCALLING; LEADERSHIP; and an OFFENSIVE LINE that is, imo, underrated (as far as pass protection is concerned) all have contributed to 4 games with zero intercepts! That is why the Ravens selected Mac9 over others in the offseason (KUDOS to Ozzie and the gang!)

MAC9 truly is a Gladiator!! The Cinn game for Steve surely was an anomaly to how he plays, and he did get some lucky breaks on balls that should have been INT's. His presence and coolness:kewl:in the pocket is addictive to the O-line, which in turn takes them up a notch as well. It is obvious with the protection of late. Minimal sacks and INT's....what a nice combination!

Secondly....Steve has the mindset that matches our Defense as featured on JACKED UP!!:rocking:

So far, so good. Conservative, but effective play calling. Nothing wrong with that. (That 9 minute drive in the 4th quarter against KC was a thing of beauty.) Sunday's game should be a good indicator of how the Ravens can get up for a clearly inferior team after that major coup at Arrowhead. NO LETUP!

GO RAVENS!!!
