Jamal need 123 yards for 1,000 rushing yards for the season. He has had great games in the past against Cleveland. Will he get to 1,000 this week ?

I sure hope so. Jamal deserves to have a big game before the playoffs start.

I hope he does it, but I'm not holding my breath. If I'm not mistaken, I think he has still only had one 100 yard game all year. He has been running hard lately but he still doesn't look like the Jamal of old. Even in the Chiefs game, he gained 81 yards but it took him 24 carries to do it.

Not that I'm complaining, because that was 81 quality yards, but the question was will he get 123 against the Browns -- I hope so but I doubt it.

I say yes, this is Jamal's favorite team to play. I beleive Ja,al is just starting to crank it up. I say he may even hit 150 yards this week, with the way the O line is playing & the way the Browns stink against the run.

I agree.....he is ready for a breakout game, and why not Cleveland! He runs well against them and look what the steelers did last week. They exploited the lack of a Cleveland run defense. The game plan and play calling will go in favor of Jamal at home. After he wears them down......LOOK OUT!!:hammer:

Has Jamal even cracked 100 yards against Cleveland since 2003? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him have a big day, but I just seem to remember them handling him a lot better since the 500 yard season. I guess it's a pride thing for them now and they get extra-geared up.

I was thinking that this morning, Steve. Great minds sure do think alike.

As for Jamal, I really do think he's going to topp 1000 this weekend. Cleveland is what, 29th against the run? Run Jamal early and run Jamal often.

Q -- when Jamal travels to Cleveland, which route does he take?

I'd love to see him do it! It's a testament to him for how hard he's been running this year. How many backs are going to rush for 1,000 yards in 14 games with only two 100-yard games, (if he breaks it this week), and a longest run of only 27 yards. I was ready for a switch to Mike Anderson earlier in the year and to use Jamal only in short yardage situations.

I'm so glad Billick stuck with him and tweaked the offense to make it all work. I'm really starting to appreciate his 3-4 yards and a cloud of dust with 5 guys hanging on him. I think this wears down a defense alot more than if he was breaking 30-40 yard runs and our TOP goes down. Keep that defense rested baby, that's the key, and Billick's found it!

It depends on the game, if we get out to a big lead early, NO! We will rest him and possibly McNair and other vets.

This is what I cant stand about my fellow Ravens fans...Stuff like if we get out to a big lead we will rest players and the like...We were lucky to beat the Browns the first time and Jamal had 86 yards on 21 carries and was lucky not to lose a fumble. Jamal is not running for 150 and two TD's... The only time he has had more than one TD in a game they were 2 yards, 5 yards, and 16 yards...He has only cracked 100 yards ONCE this year- against the Saints on 31 carries when were out in front and trying to kill the clock....For those thinking he is just starting to crank it up his last 5 games: 45, 91, 66, 61, and 81 a 68.8 yards per game which equals out to a WHOPPING 3.5 yards a carry- his 2006 season Average...Fitting for an average running back....How much is Mike Anderson making this year?

The Ravens will not be lucky to beat the Browns this time, they will just BEAT them. The Browns D is out there waving the red cape & making air tackles. As far as Jamal's 1st game against the Clowns, we were behind & the running game was not properly utilized due to that. After the way he played Sunday against KC, hitting people & dragging 4 or 5 men with him, I say he is back. He may not breay the 80 yard run anymore, but I'll take the 8 -12 + yard runs. He is on a mission (a contract for next year) & running with a purpose. Jamal will run long & hard Sunday & pile up yards.

I see Jamal topping 100 yards in the first half. As far as breaking 1,000 -- frankly I could care less. The only thing I'm interested in is nailing another W to the board, and steamrolling into Pittsburgh next week with as few injuries as we managed agasint KC -- which, incidentally, was ZERO.

GO RAVENS!!!
