Yeah, I'm not judging Flacco on his first series in the NFL. Especially since as usual the offensive line crumbled around him.

If this game is any indication, Ravens nation had better prepare itself for Kyle Boller starting the season. 11-15 for 102 yards is better than Troy Smith did. I think this is Kyle's job to lose.

I don't know about that. Flacco still has a long way to go and has no real shot at being the starter this season. It's a 2 horse race and we have to see what Boller and Smith can do.

I think this game showed us a couple of positives (offensive play calling, Kyle's play, DEFENSE, SPECIAL TEAMS), a couple of things we need to work on (OL, OL, OL, Joe Flacco getting comfortable in a crowd, penalties)

Overall, this was a nice way to start off our preseason. Don't get a headache about Flacco yet, we can't honestly expect him to be lights out from the get-go. This performance will give Cam and Hue Jackson some material to get in his face about and hopefully get him to learn from his mistakes.

As you'd expect, John Harbaugh praising both Kyle and Troy at the presser. Said he was happy to see Kyle play like that. Take 2 plays out of there and Kyle had a perfect day. Said Troy "threw some real NFL balls" out there. Was poised and confident.

Was complementary to Flacco. Clearly Flacco needs work. But he'll get there.

People have got to understand that Troy is only a 2nd year player who was a 5th round draft pick. Sure he looked decent at the end of last year when he got in, but he is still raw and inexperienced as a NFL QB. Kyle is the vet and should be the most polished (but he still makes those 'Kyle Mistake' :grbac: )

Yes, but Fabian got to rest the 2nd half. Mike Kracalik didn't. I know in a real game, you're supposed to play all 4 quarters, but to have to go out there in preseason and play all 4 quarters....That's a trooper right there.
