With all the talk last year about Billick being on the bubble and getting one last chance with the 2006 season, can we now assume that he will be our HC once again?
No matter what happens the rest of the season (regular and post), we went from 6-10 to AFC North Champs! Has he already saved his job? or does he need to take this all the way to Miami?

Miami? Hell no. Billick could lose the next three games and he's still back.

I see a three to four year contract extension negotiated in the offseason.

Bad news for the Billick haters; expect a contract extension to be announced shortly after the season ends.

Billick's future is so bright, he better wear shades. Biscotti isn't letting him go, nor should he.

Billick will get a four year extension and deservedly so should he get one.

I foresee a long residency in the state of Maryland for Brian, with many more notches on his belt.

He may have finally silenced those who ridiculed his "offensive guru" label.

Long live Brian Billick, arrogance and all.

I think at this point it will be up to Brian Billick when he wants to leave the Ravens.

I hope Coach Billick is rewarded for his outstanding efforts. He did everything and more of what was asked of him at the end of last year.

You would be hard pressed to find a better coach for our team.

My thoughts exactly!

Coach Billick turned the team around, fixed the chemistry thing and it got them a division championship. He should be rewarded and I hope he stays in Baltimore a long time.

The more interesting question is - Who is our OC next year? Can/should Billick retain play-calling duties?

I'd love for this chemistry to continue on the offense into next year, but a dual HC/OC role has got to be a brutal workload for the man. Maybe someone comes in as OC to work within the system Brian's instituted this year, and does everything but call plays on the field, which Brian continues to do.
