Baltimore Ravens quarterback Troy Smith has been cleared to resume light football workouts. Smith was in a three-way battle with rookie Joe Flacco and Kyle Boller over the Ravens starting quarterback job in the preseason when he came down with some kind of virus. The former Heisman Trophy winner completed 40-of-76 passes for 452 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie last season.
