Coordinator Rex Ryan's Ravens defense ranked fifth last year, but the team went 6-10, missing injured linebacker Ray Lewis and safety Ed Reed for a combined 16 games. They have been mostly healthy this year. But it's the newcomers who have helped elevate the unit to the NFL's No. 1 defense.
