"Broncos right cornerback Darrent Williams was shot and killed this morning after leaving a nightclub near 11th and Grant in a limousine. The team confirmed the death of Williams."

My prayers go out to his family. He was a very good player and one has to wonder, if this incident was planned or if he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's an awful way to start the New Year.

I am at a loss for words. Who knows what occurred whether it was a attempted carjacking or something worse. Whatever it was, what a devastating loss and it makes me think of our guys while they are taking their time off.
