This will be my last Good and Bad thread for the season. My reason is that when it comes to the playoffs- it does not matter what happens in a game- a win is good and a loss is bad. In other words, there is no in between. I don't care how we win our playoff games or how ugly we look winning. Just win!

The good:

1. We finished with the most wins in team history (13-3). I guarantee that no one predicted that we'd finish 13-3.

2. We are the ONLY representative from the AFC North. Again, no one could have predicted that before the season.

3. Sam Koch. His placement of punts was outstanding on yesterday.

4. CMAC. For his game saving INT.

5. Our defense for always showing up huge when it counts.

6. We get a first round bye. That makes us the most dangerous team in the entire playoffs. There is no team that scares me, if we play OUR game.

The bad:

1. Cory Ross. I feel like an ass because I pimped this kid and blasted BJ Sams. Hey, can't be right about everything, but Ross really scares me as our returner. Special teams is huge in the postseason and this kid just does not look sure of himself. BJ Sams looked sure of himself when he was a rookie, and showed that he has IT. Ross just does not have IT as a punt or kick returner. We need to use Mark Clayton pronto. Hell even use Derrick Mason since he wants to be utilized more.

2. Derrick Mason. See my thread, but in short, we can't afford to miss wide open receivers to feed bruised egos. I think the offense was off because we focused more on appeasing Mason than playing our game. Heap, Clayton, and Williams were wide open on several plays while we were pacifying Mason.
