Got this on New Years Eve. A fine addition to the 'Subterranean Admin Shrine (to all things purple)'.

Back in early December I bumped into a guy who does custom stained glass work. One of his pieces is the Ravens purple scary birdy head. I had to have one. There is a similar one in Looneys pub in Bel Air. He did that one also.

I hung it temporarily for the pics. Not sure it it will go on the wall or if it will dangle.

I have to say it's friggin awesome! In fact I'm off downstairs right now just to look at it. :crazy:

I got the special never to be repeated Ravens Nest 1 price. He normally sells them for $300 ish.

It's solid. The guy has skillz (is that how you spell it?).

You could get one next time you're here if you coordinate it with the stained glass bloke. Don't think you would get it on the plane as carry-on though and I wouldn't trust it in the hold, being thrown around and all that. It is glass after all.

Very nice. I think it looks nice hung. Maybe consider getting some sort of ambient light for behind it and hang it on the wall and make it a centerpiece.

I'm no decorator, but I'd want that installed in some way to keep it from possibly being damaged by over-exuberant (i.e. drunken) Ravens fans!:crazy:
