Brian Billick as an Offensive Coordinator?

Great game plan Zorn. "We will try to open up the run game by throwing 5 yard passes all night" (my putting words in his mouth)

All they did was bring the safeties up and give pittsburgh no reason not to come after Campbell all night long. They never stretched the field or tried to throw screens or draws, or anything to slow down the rush.

Worst game plan since... Well Billick last year at Pittsburgh.

Oh my God it was driving me crazy! They weren't doing ANYTHING to slow down the rush. And then when they ran the ball they kept doing sweeps to the outside which never work against a fast defense. The Ravens did a lot of quick hand offs when they played the Stealers, the Skins didn't do that once. It was all sweeps, all night, with hardly any success.

They did try a few screens early on but then stopped inexplicably. I think their first play of the game was a draw and didn't do it again.

The few times they got Portis the ball in teh flats he made something happen, but the run plays wide all night was a very stubborn approach een Brian would deem unprudent, and outside the parameters of his profile. He would have run off gaurd all night and threw to the TE.

Hopefully, they'll use the same GamePlan against us, but somehow I doubt it!

I am still worried about those quick slant patterns that the Redskins have feasted on all year. Those things could crush our backed-up beaten-up secondary. Last night certainly made me feel a little better, but I can see Campbell getting enough time to find Cooley and Moss over and over again. I am more worried about that game then the Eagles or Cowboys. But we can def. beat the crap out of that defense. Excited for it!
