We should line-up Heap outside. He used to be very good as a large wideout. No reason he could not do it again. Plus he is on my fantasy team.

The truth comes out!!!! I think keeping him inside and him getting two TDs would keep you happy. Greedy greedy greedy

Heap has also been blocking like a tackle, playing Wr would waste half his skills and Wilcox has been hurt. Clayton did a nice Mason impersonation, and Figurs is a better deep threat than Clayton. I think this could be a good thing for the Ravens and Falco if they can get a win without Mason and get other guys involved in the passing game.

I wouldn't be surprsied to see Heap split out wide and Terry and Hale in the TE slot to help out Anderson and/or Gaither.

Clayton is much better as a slot receiver. He showed us that during his rookie year. Not as good as Mason but he'll do OK.

I said before that long TD that Figurs is the best thing we have as a deep threat. He's not big but he can burn and make defenses play us somewhat honestly.

Boy do we need a tall fast WR. Flacco has been throwing the deep ball really well and a lot of his passes would have been caught if he wasn't throwing it to a 5-11 midget WR. Case in point the Edwards TD.... DA didnt throw it well but Edwards pulled it in with Walker b/c he was tall (thank god he had a huge drop later). That would have been a pick if it was Mason, Clayton, or Figurs. Bring back Clarence Moore :D and throw the jump ball

Next time we get a top 3 pick we draft a guy like Edwards and hope he does not develop the dropsies when we are in playoff contention, or a staph infection in his trap.

Joe has plenty of arm, and the short Wrs we have are getting plenty open deep. they will continue to go deep, but do need a couple tall targets for the redzone.

Cam has shown he knows how to work with what his players can do. He seems to be doing OK with short WRs, a rookie Qb, RB and a FB playing 3rd down and short yardage back. If he gets a player at Wr like a top 5 WR draft pick, and DHB from UMD could be a later 1st rd pick as a Jr somewhat under the radar, the Ravens will have a top 10 offense for years.

Regarding Heap, I'll be very surprised to see him with more then 2-3 passes thrown his way. I believe (particulary if W. Anderson is out) that he'll stay with the O Line to keep Flacco safe from the Gay Ants pass rush.

Mason will be fine. I dislocated my should in high school. I played WR and the following week I was playing again. Yes it hurt, but I could still catch and get tackled. I did lose some playing time (went from 1st string to 3rd that week), but I was helping my team out. I know high school football is not the same as the Pros, but I think Mason can handle it.
