Why? They're not doing any harm, they're advertising other things that TL & PF24x7 do, if there are folks like me who have the forum bookmarked and don't go to the homepage they won't encounter them in a news section (though I'm no use as a target audience being on t'other side of the pond for some of the activities, but you get my point). It's not as if they're taking up any space for active threads, there haven't been active spreads stretching off of the front page of this place for a long old while.

T, generally speaking the threads that we stick are to support a sponsor, support a good cause or to encourage participation from the board members for fun things like guessing the score, Pick 5's, etc.

I'm sorry if this disappoints you but we will continue to do this while promising not to make the board look like an infomercial.

That said, we are always open to suggestions to improve the board or this site so if anyone has any, bring them on either here or to me privately at tl@profootball24x7.com.
