Just wanted to give all of you a heads up about our Ravens coverage this week. There's a lot of it to go around. Some of this is specific to the Morning Show because obviously that's the only show content I control, but I know Bob and Rob will have guests, interviews, etc. throughout the week.
Anyway...
Monday morning at 7:30, as we do every week, we'll talk to Rex Ryan on the Morning Show. Spencer Folau will join us in studio from 8a-10a to talk about this weekend's playoff action and preview the Colts/Ravens game.
Monday night at Port Royal Sports Bar in Fallston, Nestor will have five guests for a big-time night of Ravens talk starting at 7pm. Joining him will be Haloti Ngata, Edwin Mulitalo, Mike Flynn and ex-Ravens Spencer Folau and Kyle Richardson. The replay of this taped show will air throughout the day on Tuesday.
Tuesday morning, our regular feature, the "Tuesday Feedback Forum" will feature a question that will most definitely be close to the heart of every football fan in town, whether you grew up with the Colts have become a new Ravens fan or if you never saw a Colts game in Baltimore and you've only known the Ravens in your football life. Either way, don't miss Tuesday morning's question. I think it will be the most hotly debated one we've done in the last 10 weeks.
Nestor will have shows with player appearances Tuesday and Wednesday as well. You can go to our web-site (wnst.net) for details on locations, times, players, etc.
And then, on Thursday night, we cap off our week of Purple Playoff Rallies by bringing current and former Ravens players out to the Towson Center for the Towson-George Mason college basketball game. Confirmed thus far are appearances by Dan Wilcox, Matt Stover and ex-Ravens Spencer Folau and Kyle Richardson. Additionally, former BALTIMORE Colts KR and RB Howard Stevens will join us. The event will feature a half-time foul-shooting contest between the football guys and WNST's own Casey Willet and Rob Long.
You can get a half-price ticket coupon ($5.00) for the Towson-George Mason game at our web-site.
It will be "All Ravens, All Week" on the Morning Show and on WNST in general, so hang in there with us throughout the day.
Oh...almost forgot...we'll take some time on Wednesday to honor the expected Hall of Fame announcement of Cal Ripken, Jr. on Tuesday. So Wednesday morning will include some baseball talk...as it should when one of your hometown heroes gets inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Thanks...
DF
