I need more cowbells......LOL...."I gotta have that cowbell!!! Explore the space of the forum with the cowbell!!"
Seriously...I have been extremely busy at work and this evening was the first time I got to sit down and read the paper. The entire paper - front page, local, style section, sports page - it is all about the Ravens and the fans' excitement for this game. Even the Washington comPost had as huge front-page sports page article on Billick.
I can't imagine what this town will be like if they win on Saturday...so I won't go there.
But....if they lose - and the other team gets paid and they got some pretty decent ballers too you know - well, that will be sad. But I want to say thank you...
To the Ravens for giving this die-hard fan more than he expected - or quite frankly deserved given my low expectations at the beginning of the year...
And thanks to "you"....for being the best damn football fans in the country....bar none.....we ain't got the big-city media to hype us, but in our hearts we know...let's keep it that way.
GO RAVENS!!

This is painful. Anyone seen downtown lately? I heard it's even more purple than it was two weeks ago...

I'm with you on the anxiety. I don't remember feeling this way about any other game, even the Super Bowl.

I'm antsy and what's more is my internet connection is playing silly buggers today and I'm extremely nervous that it's gonna carry over to tomorrow.
Praying it pulls through so I can see what is going to be an awesome game! :nerd:
Isn't this game on a network over there?

This morning I thought I saw a giraffe walking down Waterview Avenue, but it was just a really tall black dude with a mustard colored scarf............

Tis on Sky but I don't have it and my parents don't have it, and it's a Saturday Night so no pubs will show it. Unfortunately that leaves me with my internet connection which I hope sorts itself out by this time tomorrow. :nerd:
I find it hard to believe not one pub will show it. I don't doubt you, I just need to make a note never to visit your lovely country when it might POSSIBLE be football season.

On a Sunday night I'd have a chance at the local, but because I'm in a student area on a Saturday night they'll all be too full to put it on for me and they tend to have Karaoke or a band in on Saturdays.

That's why I love being a third shifter, I get to at least be making money tonight since there's no way I'm sleeping anyway.

YOU? I can't sleep and I've stopped listening to the radio shows and watching the various shows on NFLN like Total Access. I am also tired of the trash talk and everything.
I am ready for this game to get going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Key to the game is a good start -- or at least not to get too behind too quickly
Great quote from McNair in the paper today
"The book has already been written for the Ravens to win the Super Bowl," McNair said. "We just have to carry out the script."
