I'm leaning towards 13-10 Titans. I think they'll win by a last second fieldgoal.

My gut tells me that the offense won't stay on the field long enough in the second half and this D, which hasn't had a "true" bye week, just gets worn down..........but god do I hope I'm wrong!!

I am not seeing many problems with this game. I think this is a really bad matchup for Tennessee. Here are my reasons:

1. Titans have no receiving threats. They rank 27th in the NFL in passing. Leading receivers Gage 651 yds., Scaife 561 yds. Kerry Collins? Less than a 60% passer...threw for 2600 yards. SuperBowl 35? There is space in Collin's head and Ray Lewis will lease a 2 bedroom apartment there for 3 hours on Saturday.

Ravens will load the box, stop the run and force Collins to throw. I can guarantee you there is not an offensive coordinator in the NFL that wants to be forced to throw the ball against the Ravens defense right now especially with a team that has no air threat to begin with. Titans lucky to get into the red zone twice for two field goals.

Our offense isn't anything to brag about either but our defense and special teams will make our offense better than theirs.

2. Titans finished the season 3-3 with losses to the Jets and the Texans. They beat Detroit and Cleveland as well as the Steelers. They basically have beat one good team in the past 8 weeks now. These are not the Titans that were 10-0. They are a mediocre to good team.

3. Cam, Rex and John. These guys are coaching right now and will make the right adjustments. Notice how recently, the ravens have not gotten off to smoking starts but once opposing game plans are exposed, the Ravens begin to get traction and make gains on both sides of the ball. Under Billick, there were never adjustments.

4. The Ravens come in with the momentum. The Titans have played one good and maeningful game in the past 8 weeks.

Final score:

Ravens 20 Titans 6 in a game that does not live up to the hype.

Titans slacked off the last week of the season. Bad things happen to bye week teams that do that.

I also don't think this will be the defensive clash of the titans people are projecting. Even if it is, remember back to '00 when we played them in the playoffs? Both defenses were better than these two defenses, and 34 points were still scored.

This is going to be a classic BAL-TEN slugfest.

I'm not afraid of TEN but I respect their team, esp. their defense. The Ravens will need their "A" game on both sides, and Sam Koch needs a big game.

I see multiple turnovers on both sides and a tight, low scoring game through 3 quarters. Both teams score in the 4th. Last team to get the ball will score and win.

I think that's going to be the Ravens. Baltimore 16 Titans 13.

Didn't you also say we were going to lose to Dallas? I'm thinking you (and a few others in this thread) will be eating crow come Saturday night.

I'm going with 13-10 Ravens.

31-10 Ravens (we score 14 off D, 7 on S.T.)

We start strong, stop them from running which causes them to try to force the pass. That is where is goes all the more wrong for them.

SD upsets Pitt.
I rob a bank to get money to go to the AFC champ game.

I am surprised so many people are negative on ths board about this game. I have predicted ravens losses in the past so I am not just always pro-raven but this Tennessee team is ready to get whacked. This just shows what so many others see.

Typical Raven game where it is close for the first 10 minutes...the next 40 minutes the Ravens dominate and build a nice lead and then the last 10 minutes, pop another xanax and hold on.

I totally agree with you. The only way the Titans win this game is if they get their running game going against us. Didn't happen before. Wont happen now.

Score: Ravens 21 Titans 13 Bring on the Steelers who also are going to win.

I'm not negative about the game, I merely was showing what the consensus was around the country. I definitely want the Ravens to win, I'm just trying to take all factors into account and look at the game objectively. If the Ravens come out guns blazing on both sides of the ball we'll win the game. I just think that the short week combined with the lack of a "bye" may catch up to them......

I think the score will be a little tighter with the Ravens winning 17 - 13. We cannot let the officials decide this game! I also hope San Diego knocks off Pittsburgh, but I am not counting on it. Go Ravens!!
