I'll be there on the 25th. Who wants to met up?

My family goes every year. This year, I bought us the combo tickets. Right after the Ravens Festival Ends, you can walk over to OPACY and see the O's play. It was ridiculously cheap, like maybe $20. Can't think of a better day, Ravens in the morning and O's at night.

I won't be able to make it this year. I'll be at the beach for a wedding.

Ugh ....

This is the first year I am missing this -- I will be in Ireland.

I'm thinking of going for the first time this year. I was hoping to get some autographs, but the player list isn't exactly a who's who of Raven all-stars. What other aspects of the Spring Festival are worth going for? Any input?

Well, the autograph part is nice. I've picked up some good ones over the years. I guess mostly the atmosphere. I've got two boys so they enjoy the stuff geared towards them - face painting, Poe, games, activities. It's also cool to get down on the field and spend time. You can tour the Ravens locker room and you can see the '01 Super Bowl trophy. There are really good deals on Ravens apparel at the store. Plus, if you've never had access to the Club Level, they open that up. There's giveaways, auctions, etc. In the past, some of the coaching staff have done Q&A sessions, which is cool. Usually, some radio/tv stations are on hand and do commentary throughout the day. And of course, it's not my thing, but there's always the cheerleaders. I guess the big deal of the day is when we get close to our draft pick. It's cool seeing who will be the future star of our team with 10,000 other Ravens fans. Maybe some others can chime in...did I forget something huge?

Sounds good, thank you.

I had to miss the draft last year because I was stuck in a wedding. This sounds like a good idea and all, but they should've planned in on a better day.

What's better than the first day of the draft? I'm pretty sure that's the whole reason for the spring football festival in the first place.

That price also gets you into the O's game at the Yard, which starts at 7.

EDIT: It's also cheaper if you're a PSL holder: $13.

Anyone know if the admission to the O's game is just standing room only, or are there upper reserve sections marked off for the Fanfest people?

I was wondering that myself. I just ordered my tickets today through the Ravens site. It says both tickets for the Fan Fest and the O's tickets will be sent. My guess is they'll have an upper reserve section or two set aside for the Fan Fest'ers. Of course, announced attendance will probably be around 12,000, so you can have your choice of seats in the lower box.

Got my tickets yesterday and we are in section 370 of OPaCY. Not bad, where you sit if you come for College night at the park. Add into that the free parking in the lots on the East side of M&T Bank stadium and it isn't a bad day at all. I am looking forward to seeing the locker room and watching our pick on the big screen, then going over to the Yard. On top of that, it is Maryland Day at UMCP.

Yep, got my tickets yesterday too and we're in Section 370 as well. Again, not bad. Ravens in the afternoon and the O's in the evening for $20? Awesome deal. We're bringing out 2 boys. I usually pay that just for the O's game.

True. I did some reading up on it. I don't know why I assumed otherwise. I guess I had a bit of a brain fart. My wife and I and some friends are going to go and then hitup the O's game.
