The premise of the article is we were not sufficiently aggressive and did not put up a lot of points with 'playmakers' against the following opponents: BUF, DEN, IND, CIN.

Setting aside the statistical rankings at the end of the season, it is worth noting BUF, DEN and IND were all playing excellent defense *before* the games against Baltimore. And the game at CIN was on short rest.

Lombardi draws a connection between a few poor games and national tv audiences. I just don't think BB and his staff game plan differently based on the number of tv cameras in the stadium. Not that it's inconceivable, it's just, there is a simpler explanation.

Of the four games, three were against defenses playing at their peaks, and one was on 3 days rest.
