WOW!:eek: This is the first I've heard of the Blackbirds! I heard some rumors a few months ago, but didn't know a thing about it!:nerd: This is pretty cool..I may go to a game and check it out...I've got this feeling, if it's football, it's going to be a hit in B-more :thumbup:

well since they are "new" just awarded the franchise in dec and play starts in march i think, with the arena already having things booked, they play only 2 home games! 8 away and 2 at home..tough schedule. No tv, its minor league arena football, but its something. Next year they are suppose to have a full schedule.

There is also the Chesapeake Tide which plays in the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro. They are in the Continental Indoor Football League. (another minor league)

If we get a good turn out and show a lot of support, we could be looked at for an AFL team.

If that goes well perhaps a new arena would be built and NHL, NBA and good concerts would come.

Ahh, Im getting too ahead of myself. If its Baltimore, I'll support it.

I think I read next year will be 7 home games & 7 away games, but that's not for another year.
