Ya know, when I first saw it I was pissed and furious, but after I saw it over and over again, it never said anything about the Indianpolis Colts history...It just talked about the "Colts History"....This was a revelation....Just thought I'd throw it out.....I never want to see an Irsay hoist the Lombardi trophy, but I do believe it's going to happen and I'm OK with it; the Colts winning it:thumbup: , not Irsay winning it:thumbdown: .....:nerd: It will justify our loss to the Colts, at least for me...;) a former Baltimore Colts fan!
I am a true Ravens fan now.....I LOVE MY RAVENS!!!!!

You know, I've always had my issues with this but the past couple of months, I just got over it. BOB Irsay is dead. We have a Super Bowl winning team. Jim Irsay has gone out of his way to be respectful and try to put it behind everyone. I like some of the things he said about moving on and not choosing to hate. I tend to agree with him. If Bob Irsay didn't give the name and colors back 23 years ago, they weren't coming back at all. Its too valuable business wise. The HOF doesn't recognize the Baltimore Colts but I have my memories and our history hasn't changed because of the HOF. I think I was more pissed about the NFL and how they treated a city that helped put them on the map as some ugly stepchild after we lost a team. The players on the present day Colts have class. They are going to win the Super Bowl. After beating us with five field goals, didn't you just have a feeling this is their year. I have nothing but respect for Manning. He is the Ripken of the NFL and paid his respects to Baltimore. I've put it past me.

Couple of things:

1- Congrats on getting over it. Nobody cares. Seriously man, your last three post have been about the same thing. Greg,T and many others are still pissed off that the CornHolers from Indy are claiming titles and records that Baltimore won. I happen to agree with them. If the Ravens were to ever pick up and move to L.A. then I would hate that team with a passion unless our name and records stayed here (I suppose there would be a more appropriate term since I don't live in or anywhere near Baltimore but that would screw up the whole point).

2- Please quit typing in bold all the time. It's "shouting" and is considered very rude. Everyones post are just as important as yours, yet we don't feel the need to "shout". In fact, the only poster around who has the right to "shout" is LadyRaven. (That's mostly due to the fact that she terrifies all of us. There's a whole evil-voodoo vibe thing going on.)

We have a Super Bowl winning team.

Since the Colts left in 1984, we won the Super Bowl. Spotting the Colts a twelve year head start, we still got a SB before they did, and before the Squealers, too.

as that commercial has been run down our collective throat by now i'm pretty numb to it. as far as being over it, i wasn't officially over it until that she-lers fan came on here talking smack which reminded me who the real enemy is (figuratively speaking at least).

I'm not OK with the Colts and I don't think I ever will be. I know I wasn't born until a few months after the Colts skipped town, but I still have an appreciation for history, and Irsay stole Baltimore's football heritage. I want the Bears to upset these assholes and for Brian Urlacher to shatter Manning's entire body. I STILL WANT BLOOD FROM THESE SONSABITCHES.

So you are arrogant enough to believe that your opinion is the only one that should be heard?

Welcome to the ignore list.

You have issues son:insane: History is just what it is~ H-I-S-T-O-R-Y. I was a B-more Colt fan and I was 20 when they left town!! It hurt, but my Ravens have healed the pain....People need to let it go, because we are making new history with the Ravens;) Typed in bold to be eccentric:D

Tspot, you'd be one lonely camper if everyone who disagreed with you on this point ignored you.

:) I was referring to the point of TSpot's original post, which I agree with, but I get the feeling is the minority opinion around here.

No problem with being in the minority, though.

I agree with almost all of this post, but I just can't stand the bulbous martian head manning. His Aw-shucks look, while whining and pointing fingers, is more than I can stomach. He's never taken blame for ANYTHING, it's always a receiver running the wrong route, or protection problems. AND I am almost as tired of any and ALL of his commercials as I am with the chevy commercial w/ mellonkamper!... and that's just deplorable!!!!

I very clearly remember Mellonkamper telling an interviewer we would *never* hear his songs played in a commercial.

Money talks, as they say.

Agree. I'm tired of hearing about how "classy" Manning is, when the guy has done nothing but throw his teammates under the bus in the past for losing. I really think he will have to play a terrible game for the Colts to lose XLI, but I wouldn't put another choke job past him.

Sick of his commercials too.

I wont be upset if Manning gets a ring.

But if he chokes, I wont lose any sleep over it.

i actually didn't used to mind the guy until he cried about our fans giving him the finger. what a friggin baby! i mean what was he expecting? plus, i'm tired of his shilling for just about every product imaginable, of how peter king and other commentators are slurping his man-juice all the time, and of his "robotic redneck" persona.
