Is it Peytons year or will Da' Bears D shut him down?

The Bears will beat that choker like Florida State did.

21-9 Bears.

Bears win 99 to 0 (and that is only because the scoreboard doesn't go higher)

I think the Colts win but I will be rooting for the Bears. I think in part because I want them to remake the Super Bowl Shuffle :)

Bears 38
Colts 16

Peyton has habituate to the playoff atmosphere, but will not be able to handle the SB pressure.

Why is it that for weeks...if not months...98% of you said that any AFC playoff team would rip the shreds out of any NFC opponent...but now, all of a sudden, the Bears will win?

I think the Colts will dominate. I don't like it, but that's how I feel.

Colts win.....27-20

It's the Colts year...let's face it. They beat us and the Pats...both of which are better than the Bears.

Colts 20 - 13. Bears get one td off special teams or defense.

I hate to say this but the Colts will win by 13 points. I just don't think the Bears can play with the Colts. That being said I will be rooting hard for the Bears.

If you dont think that Peyton Manning will be able to handle the SB, then Rex Grossman is going to spontaneously combust Feb. 5

Sadly I think the Colts win this one, easily. But I am going to be a huge Bears fan.

Perhaps if they get a SB in Indy, they will give B-more the history back pre-84.

27-10 Colts Grossman the Bears version of Boller gets picked off at least three times and one is returned to the house. Da Bears get a kickoff return for a TD and that's about it for their scoring.

Now your pissing me off with your Boller bullshit. Enough, now you're on my ignore list. What a A-hole!!! :insane:

The colors aren't changing. The record books aren't changing. The history's not coming back.

Never gonna happen. The rest of the NFL universe, probably including a lot of the players - old & new - thinks we are sideshow freaks for our inability to accept it. There's too much $$$ invested in the Indianapolis blue and white, too much institutional pride. Never never never. It sucks but it's never gonna happen.

Ever.

I will go with 27-10 Colts too, Bears will only get the 10 if they can do it on their first couple drives, if they fall behind, look out. It'll be a blowout.

Although I'll be rooting for the Bears, I think the Colts will beat them easily. I hope I'm wrong.

Colts will win, sorry to say, 45-10.

Kyle Boller is 10 times better than Rex Grossman and the Colts will run the ball until Chicago's defense is worn out, just like they did to New England. Then the passes will fly. I sincerely hope I am wrong, but that's the way I see it and frankly, the game will be over in the second quarter, so I hope everyone has lots of good food at their respective Super Bowl parties, because that's going to be the only entertainment of the evening.

I just think this is a really bad matchup for the Bears. Unless the Colts fumble it away three or four times like the Saints did, I can't see this being close.

Colts 41
Bears 23

I don't see how it's such a bad matchup for the Bears. Certainly their offense against the Colts defense is advantage Bears, and I would guess they don't have the same MASH unit in the secondary the Patriots did.

Like I said, I like the Colts by a touchdown, but Peyton is not dropping 40 points on this defense.

Grossman, goes 4/29 for 60 yards, with 1 TD & 6 Picks. His jump ball TD, however, puts him in the record books, as the greatest throw ever in a Super Bowl, and ESPN will slobber about it for ages. Oh, and he's finally turned the corner, as a great QB.

Devin hester returns 4 kicks for touchdowns.

Peyton is injured during the coin flip, and Jim Sorgi throws for 500 yards against the Bears vaunted D. Vinateri handles the scoring with 12 FGs, including a 75 yard game winner, to give the Colts a 36-35 win.

Urlacher wins the MVP, with 2 tackles, and a pass deflection off his helmet, cementing himself as the "Greatest LB to ever play the game."

I'll be pulling for the Bears but I don't see them winning -- I don't even see it being close. I'm not even sure if I see myself watching this game.

Tex/Oldfan/Spike/Whoever, nice job bringing up Boller in a Super Bowl prediction thread. And you wonder why people ignore you. :insane:

Colts will win. Don't know by how much, don't care . . . . but there it is. I'm not sure I can even watch this. The only interest I have is that one of my co-workers is from Chicago and is very excited and I'm excited for him, thus I'm sorta rooting for the Bears.

Since I never predit anything, maybe reverse mojo will happen :nerd: probably not.

I'm just starting to get over my depression . . . . I'm afraid this game is going to push me right back to the edge :bag:

Hmmm...Peyton is expected to perform well, while "Sexy Rexy," is expected to perform bad. Peyton chokes and Rex pulls off a great performance, and Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson bring out the REAL Colts run defense. Bears win, 24-17.

I agree. Peyton's SB hype is going too much for the Colts to overcome the Bears. Rex Grossman's performance showed me why he can win the big one. Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson will attack the running game and finally pulverize the Colts dominating rush defense. Bears win 31-17

unless Rex Grossman turns it up a notch they won't move the ball well. Peyton Manning (he's the Indy qb, in case you didn't know) will do as he did in the Patriots game, throwing underneath and killing with the short game.
in the 4th quarter Joseph Addai will run for 50 yards.

Colts 27 Bears 13

the thought of an Irsay holding the trophy is abominable.

I will stick by my score as I think the Bears will somehow pull it off, and not because of the old Baltimore Colts crap, because I don't care about that. If the Colts win, they win, but I don't think they will. I see the Bears stepping up and picking Manning off three times. I also see a Devin Hester having a big impact on this game. I just think Peyton will buckle under the Super Bowl pressure.

On another note, for me, regardless of who wins this game, it will be great to see the one of these coaches become the first African American Head Coach to hold the Lombardi Trophy.

DA BEARS. Chicago 17 Indianapolis 14. Peyton gets picked off twice and Devin Hester returns a kick to the house.

I just want the fuckin Colts to lose. I can't stand watching Irsay celebrate a SB title.
