I heard from some NE fans he was not getting it done but to not even be active is just crazy.

Adalius Thomas a healthy scratch, too

The Patriots listed their inactive players via a Twitter posting mentioning last names only.

One of the names listed is "Thomas."

It didn't register that they have only one Thomas: Adalius.

Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald pointed out the fact that Thomas is a healthy scratch. Thomas did not appear on this week's injury report.

A big-money free agent addition in 2007, the move could be a sign that the Pats are dangling Thomas in the hopes of getting help at another position. Or to simply continue to pile up 2010 draft picks.

I'm hearing that he had some illness that did keep him out of practice this week.

From where?

If he had any type of "illness" and does not practice he has to be on the injury report and he was not.

Rotoworld:

Patriots OLB Adalius Thomas has been declared inactive for Week 6 against the Titans.
Thomas wasn't listed on the injury report all week, but he did miss practice time for non-injury related reasons. There are reports that Thomas is out with an illness.

Hmmm looks like either Belichek is playing games with the injury report again, or the "illness" is just a cover for him not playing.

Like he always does. But of course he wont be fined for playing games with the injury report. Unlike the Jets with Favre last year.

Does not appear to be injury or illness related, form the Pats beat writer....

With Belichick's comments, there is no doubt. Thomas was not injured. No personal issue. He was de-activated with performance in mind.

Belichick on if there was a personal issue w/ Adalius Thomas: "No, we just went with the players that would have a bigger role in the game."

Deion Sanders said on NFLN that he talked to AD and he is "not happy."

Could get interesting...
