Well I wonder if Kruger will be the recipient of Nakamura's roster spot. Tonight may shine alot of light of what we can expect out of him this season.

LOL, Quinn sacks himself, falls down rather than take Ray's hit.

That's what you get Brady Boy.

Another lucky penalty for us.

First half - :grbac:

Lady Quinn simultaneously hitting the deck and shitting his pants at the sight of Ray bearing down on him -

Should we happen to hold off the Browns and win tonight, I don't want to hear a win is a win, because this team has lots and lots of issues. We don't look like a Pittsburgh, or even the Bengals. And you know we cannot compete with the likes of the Colts.

RavenScallywag
11-16-2009, 09:58 PM
Don't forget he also had a nice 13 yard run called back on a phantom holding call...

I hate to say it because Manita will be beating the dead horse again this week, saying "Get McGahee the ball more". I do like getting him involved, but I also think Ray Rice is too hot a hand to take off the field most of the time.

Well, and there was the 15 yard run called back due to a BS holding call on Birk. I would say he looks pretty good as well. He hasn't had a whole lot of opportunities.

OK, out here in Indianapolis, thanks to the "miracle" of AM radio, I was able to hear the Cleveland radio broadcast of the game while I was at work. Would you rather us say "Enjoy it now, pack in the rest of the season"? We can't keep playing like this, but this 2nd half has looked a lot better. Even when we're not converting 3rd downs, we're at least getting more creative now.

What I want is the coaches to figure out why we can't do this in the FIRST half of games. If we play like this through two halves, we're up 34-0 right now, thinking about next week already.

JJ was quoted recently, saying he's been killing it in practice recently. So it could've just been a learning curve he finally managed to hit.

Sad to say, with Suggs and Nakamura injured, we have a spot on the active roster likely opening up for him now. Would like to see him get the spot with Suggs still in the lineup.

Our D wasn't too bad. Webb is looking like the real deal more and more. Granted, the Browns WR are about the crappiest you'll find, but our DBs weren't out of position and we kept them well covered. Only big play they had was that Massaquoi 30 yard catch, which was just a gamble tackle which missed.

It's our offense that worries me more.

Webb has been stepping up every week...I mean, let's not fool ourselves, he's not covering the team's #1 guy. He's relegated either to covering the slot or maybe the #2...And we're seeing him as the blitzing CB a lot of times. But he's been good as a physical presence.

I'm just unsure who we should match him up against next week. I'm sure a lot of people will want to match him up against Wayne, but you have to remember he's still a rookie. Wayne would thrive for that matchup. I would put Foxworth on Wayne, Webb on Garcon, and F.Washington on Collie. We're going to definitley have to keep Reed or Landry on Clark at all times too. This is definitley a tough group of WRs we've got coming up.

That said, I think you've seen some tuning out of Fabian and Foxworth since the bye weeks. The Colts game last year is the one I keep pointing to about the decision to go with fast,, cover corners over the "shutdown" type corner, because CMac got beat bad by Wayne last year. So I really hope our CBs are up for this matchup because THIS IS THE REASON WE SIGNED THEM (IMO).
