For the first time in as long as I can remember I'm considering not watching the game Sunday. The combination of feeling like that it should be the Ravens playing and the potential Colts win makes me want to vomit.

Wow, you were really insightful there! Next time ask a 4 year old to help you post something intelligent.

For the first time in 39 years, I'm not watching it! I just have no interest at all in watching the Irsays play, even if they do end up choking and blow it. I'm just semi-pissed that the Twerps play tomorrow at 7 instead of Sunday at 7. That would have been perfect, to watch the Twerps instead of the StupidBowl.

If I watched the Steelers win one I can watch the Colts win one. My family didn't move to Annapolis until a couple years after the Colts left so I don't have a huge hatred for them. I don't like them and think Manning is a douche, but nothing will be as bad as watching Cowher hold up his ill-gotten Lombardi (thanks Refs!).
Besides its more of an event than a game anyway, so if it sucks I can just try to enjoy the party.

I don't know that I can. We talked about this in another thread. I just can't seem to move on after that bitter loss :nerd:

I hate how people are just counting out the Bears already.
Their D has played exceptionally wee in this postseason. Also their O isnt bad, a good run game with explosive recievers.
It think that Da Bears know that they are being counted out and that the Colts already consider themselves champs.
I see a huge OSU style upset on Sunday.
I LOVE the Super Bowl. I dont care who is playing, its great to watch history be made.

Hell, no. It's the Super Bowl. If nothing else, I have a rooting interest.
It's the last real NFL game until September. I'm not missing it.

I'm looking forward to it. I always look forward to SB Sunday!
I don't hate the Colts as much as most of you, but having the team that took US out win it all is usually the way to go. Although, I'm still rooting for the Bears.

If the Indy Colts win, they win and I will be happy for them. If not, then I'll be happy for the Bears. I will never be as happy for any winning SB team as I would for my Baltimore Ravens winning the SB.

I am with you on that. Everyone acts as if they should just hand the trophy over to the colts now. GO BEARS

Let's see ... tough choices:
- a "Monk" marathon on USA
- a "Closer" marathon on TNT
- a "Ghost Hunters" on Sci-Fi
- play Scrabble
- start taxes
- or watch the NFL refs fix the outcome two years in a row for the media darlings
There's no fuckin' way that I'm going to waste my time watching that pirate team from Indiana!

I'll be on the road with my family. No need to rush home for this stinker.
If I were home in front of the tv, I'd lean toward The Closer, if I could find someone to play, I'd go with Scrabble.

If I watched the Steelers win one I can watch the Colts win one.
Even though my dislike for the Colts has gone up this offseason (thanks to having to deal with their "fans"), they're still a distant No. 2 (or even No. 3 depending on how I feel about the Redskins on a given day) on my list of least favorite teams. The Steelers are way out in front on that list.

Yea, I'll be watching. Look, our team had a chance to stop these guys & didn't, so what is there to bitch about? We didn't get the job done, life goes on. It's hard but why are you letting this define your lives?
On a side note, why is the Baltimore/Indianapolis Sun stroking off Jimmy Irsay & rubbing it in our faces? 3 weeks ago they did it & they did it again Saturday. Did Tribune sell that idiot paper to him? We don't need to hear about the Irsay family & how Jimmy boy is his own man & is smarter than the old man. STOP IT CALVERT STREET!!!!

I will be watching but I have no rooting interest. I don't hold the hatred for the Colts that most of you do since I didn't get into football until after the Colts left. This is the last chance for me to see football until preseason. Although I probably will go to a Baltimore indoor football game if I can.
I can see a scenario where the Bears win, but I don't think it is likely. The Colts are a better team.

I've not watched the sporting news for 2 weeks.
I do have a ton of prop bets laid. I'll follow online and hope Billy sings the anthem on the under.
PS- Could the media suck Manning's manhood any more then they are? I don't think so. The Colt issue aside, the media has made him the DUKE of the NFL.

PS- I too thought the Colts would win.But when the public gives a team no chance, they win. Bears win. #19 curse continues.
And if they do win, we have our 5th SB Championship.

That's why I haven't watched barely one ioda of ESPN, NFL channel, etc. since the AFC championship game ended.
I'll watch the game, but no way in hell I'm gonna sit here and watch 6 hours of pregame Manning knob polishing prior.
Last I knew, it was a team sport...so I thought.:grbac:

The SB will be on the TV as I go about my usual "Sunday evening get ready for work" activities. I'll watch some, check the score at the end of each quarter to see if my wife won anything on her office pool grid.
I have zero rooting interest.
It will go off the instant the game finishes. I'm not watching the trophy presentation or any other postgame shit.
It's a big fat "whatever" to me.

We haven't watched any of it yet today. We are currently watching "Indian in The Cupboard" with babygirlraven127.
When the movies is over I'll turn it on . . . . maybe . . . . but I saved the Sunday paper to read this evening and some laundry, so I'll have plenty to do :bag:
