Interesting tidbit. Probably not very meaningful, but at least interesting.
Since Harbaugh became head coach, we have never lost to a team that finished with a losing record (provided the teams we lost to this year keep their winning records). Conveniently, our last 4 games are against teams that currently have losing records.
2008
Steelers 3x (12-4)
Titans (13-3)
Colts (12-4)
Giants (12-4)
2009
Patriots (7-5)
Bengals 2x (9-3)
Vikings (10-2)
Colts (12-0)
Packers (8-4)
Unless the Pats drop 4 in a row, none of the teams we've already lost to could spoil the streak. Of course we could spoil it ourselves by losing.
Of the remaining teams, only the Steelers seem like they have a chance of reaching 8-8.
