Quest for 31 Complete - My Thanks to Ravens Fans

Hi Guys,
I met some of you during my December 20 visit to M&T Bank Stadium this year. I just wanted to pass along that I did finally complete my Quest to attend an NFL game in each stadium across the league as a home team fan. My last stadium was the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. I also wanted to take the time to thank you all for your hospitality and your support during my most recent visit to see the full force of the Baltimore Ravens fanbase. I really enjoyed my time in Baltimore and look forward to another opportunity to visit you guys again. I was told several times that due to the unseasonable amount of snow you received that I didn't quite get the full picture, so I'll try to get back out there. The article in the link below appeared in the Time-Picayune down in New Orleans today, describing the completion of my journey.

What I found in walking the lot was a strong, resilient fanbase that bleeds purple. Although the storm had taken its toll on the City of Baltimore and its outlying areas, Ravens Fans persevered. They dug themselves out and headed for M&T Bank Stadium to support their Ravens in the final push for a playoff berth. I was told by many of the fans I talked to that several of the larger tailgates were canceled or delayed due to the storm. So although sparse pockets of tailgaters began the day, right before game time the lots were full with folks talking football, grilling up meats, and enjoying their ice cold beverages of choice.

I found the Ravens fans to be a welcoming breed. Knowledgeable on the game of football, and committed, as you might imagine, to the Defensive side of the ball. GM Ozzie Newsome continues to reload this Super Bowl caliber defense with exceptional talent as each successive draft passes.

I was glad to see that you got to complete your 31 Quest -- I hope to catch up with you in a few years. If you ever get around to ranking the 31, please asterisk your Baltimore experience due to the freak snowstorm -- and please come back for another visit!
