Tonight it had John Harbaugh mic'd up and man is he a trip on the sidelines! You have to see the awkward conversation between him and Bilicheck, HILLARIOUS  If you get a chance, watch it! Ray Rice is funny too, asking the people at Gillette stadium "where are you going? It ain't over yet!"

"Ed, Ed, no no no yes yes yes!"

Nice. You have to like the guy. Son of a coach. Coaches coach.

to Ray:

"It ain't over yet, don't be celebrating yet... We can celebrate a little bit. You played your heart out, as usual. Glad you're here man"

Awesome.

That few minutes of video puts into question those who say he doesnt have control, IMO.

Not proof positive, but the players smiles seem genuine and they all seem to respond to Harbs.

Great segment. Kind of funnt they had Billick introduce it.

"We're not rushing the field or anything...on to the next one...show some class guys"

"where's Kelly Washington" gatorade in hand rushing onto the field.

I like the guy and I agree that this clip shows the players' respect for him. Must have been killing Billick to do the intro.

Also funny was the exchange between Harbaugh and Belicheck before the game. Belicheck has zero personality. People think his reticence is a ploy on his part...I don't think so, the guy just has no personality.

I cracked up on Belichek's "if it's not us, I hope it's you" remark....

Well no crap Bill, there's only two people playing the damn game.

He meant the whole thing Johnny. The whole thing.

I guess that's true...at that point, the Bengals were out and the Jets moved on...

Belichek would automatically not want it to be the Jets...I doubt he'd want it to be Indy either...

Still, I would think it's a BS lie. I'm betting we're not Belichek's "2nd favorite team". And if we lost to NE, I wouldn't be wishing it was them. I'd be rooting for the Jets or the Chargers.

Actually I am pretty sure Bill B. gave Harbs a letter or phone call of recomendation when the Ravens were doing the coaching search.

He is also a Navy fan and comes to the area a lot, also likes LAX and maybe catches games and whatnot with Harbs. My Dad met Harbs at a Hopkins LAX game last year and I hear BB shows up from time to time as well for Navy Hopkins Lax games.

It always seems like Bill respects the Ravens players and coaches a lot more than any of the local or national media in his interviews and what not.

Belichek did recomend Harbaugh for the job here, so maybe they are friendly towards eachother.

Also consider the close Bilicheck Newsome relationship. With that said, I think that is what 90% of coaches say to each other in the requisite pregame chit chat, unless they hate each other.

I guess it'd be a different story if Cleveland and NE played this year. Doubt Belichek would be looking for any pre-game talk with Mangenius.

I do remember hearing that Belichick and Harbs were friends from working as scouts together or something like that. Interesting though that Belichick respects the organization so much given that he didn't have the best relationship with it back in Cleveland. I'd imagine he likes the org. more now that it's run by Bisciotti. I guess since Newsome wasn't the GM back then it wasn't his decision to get rid of Belichick right before the move, either.

Why would you type that? Billick has never shown anything but love to the Ravens and Coach Harbaugh. If anything, he tends to poke fun at himself in regards to his time in Baltimore.

My guess is that it isn't that Billick doesn't respect Harbs & Co., more that it must hurt in some way to watch the team be so successful immediately after he left.

He probably runs scenarios through his mind (resign Priest Holmes after the SB, draft Drew Brees in 01, sign Drew Brees when he's a FA in 06, don't draft Kyle Boller in 03, wait 2 years and draft that other QB from Cal, Aaron Rodgers; give Kurt Warner a try during his journeyman bum years) like I'm tempted to do from time to time. You can probably think of some of your own.

Meh. I don't think Billick sits there dwelling on it much at all.

He's still being handsomely compensated and someone else gets the headache of running a team full of overgrown men while being second-guessed...:D

I doubt any of that runs through his mind right now. Billick has shown nothing but respect for the organization since leaving.

This continual Billick hate is absolutely amazing. Not from you specifically boxer, but my goodness.
