I heard that, due to Jared Gaither's connections, Bruce Cunningham is going to have...wait for it....a FEATURE FILM made about him!? Really? Apparently Baltimore son Barry Levinson is going to do a film about Baltimore sports newscasters.

Barry Levinson said the movie is in the casting phase already. Not sure how long it'll take, he's still waiting to hear back from his top choice for Bruce's role, some newscaster named Ronald Burgundy.

He's already got Mike Preston's role cast, Randy Jackson will be playing Preston. And Anita Marks will be played by Heidi Montag.

Just heard where Microsoft is looking to expand its sports-media holdings, and rumor has it an 8-figure offer to purchase ravens24x7.com could be in the works -- possibly as soon as the weekend. Microsoft General Counsel Brad Smith was spotted at the Hooters in Harborplace yesterday, and a source at BWI - who for obvious reasons, declined to be named - said that a geeky-looking man flew in from the Seattle area on a very expensive private jet and was quickly escorted to a private VIP entrance just off the tarmac. He was seen carrying a large sack with a big green dollar sign on it.
