When do you guys think the fan day at the stadium will take place? Is it usually on draft weekend?
Also is the training camp usually the last week in July? I run a summer camp at my school and I know to plan ahead way in advance. We had an absolute blast last summer..and got our pic with Flacco in the Sun.
Thanks in advance

I'm sure someone in the Ravens facility can answer that for you, but generally yes, it starts right around the end of July, into the month of August.
Another place you can try would be McDaniel college, since they obviously need to know the dates ahead of time to plan it out.

From what I could ascertain, there will not be a Draft Day party at the stadium this year due to installation of the HD scoreboards. I found this at the Ravens web-site:
A few of you have asked about the Spring Football Festival, typically held during the first day (Saturday) of the NFL Draft. Because of the M&T Bank Stadium renovations occurring during the NFL Draft we will not host the traditional Spring Football Festival. However, we are working to bring Ravens fans a similar fan experience at a future date. Stay tuned to BaltimoreRavens.com and the Baltimore Ravens Facebook page for continued updates on this and other upcoming events!
There may be another combined O's/Ravens activity on June 12th - nothing yet announced - when this will be the Orioles giveaway promotion:

Last year, when there was a parking mess because of scheduling the Ravens party on the same day as an O's game, I went to the NFL stadium at Raljon instead, where Draft Day is free. There were a surprising number of Ravens jerseys being worn there, as assumedly others were not happy with how the Ravens Draft Day has gone downhill. It's obviously different being in another team's stadium, and you'd have to put up with the annual offseason Super Bowl pronouncements, but hard to argue with the price and convenience!

I went to the Spring football fest last year, which was packaged with an Orioles ticket for that day. Parking was a mess. Ended up having to park in a garage down by the Harbor Court hotel. It was incredibly hot that day too - around 90. I think they had a much bigger turnout than expected because of the nice and warm weather. O's game was sold out for that night which is unheard of for a non-opening day, non Sox/Yanks game.

Yea, they are messing up a great thing. I took my nephews every year to the stadium on draft day and they had great activities for the kids and players were there. In fact, the old timers on scout with T, Fanatic and Lady Ravens et al had a party in front of the stadium with plenty to eat and drink and we sat around and talked football from early in the morning.
Then we went inside the stadium and they had a radio show from there with Tom Davis and Tom Matte.
Then the boys went away to college and NFL starting messing up the party.
I have spent the last 4 years watching the draft at the pool side bar in Ft Lauderdale. The bar tender knows every college player. It's great watching with him and with the hot Florida sun beating down your back in April.
Now it's at night and someone said Ravens won't even draft til around 0200?
ARe the networks dictating this change?

Jamison Hensley (http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bal-ravens0413,0,4497810.story):
The Ravens have cancelled their Spring Football Festival because of renovations at M&T Bank Stadium. Team officials said the Ravens are working with the Orioles to provide a similar fan experience before training camp or the regular season begins. The Spring Football Festival is annually held on the first day of the NFL draft.
