Not the smoothest move, Chris ...

If true, that's one scum bag move on Chris's part.

Not re-signing Chris to play last year was a HUGE mistake...:261695:
Even if it's not true, the guy just has way too much baggage off the field to make it worth bringing him in. I know Frank Walker sucks, but at least he's not a detriment to the chemistry of the football team and doesn't attract a label of us being controversial.
Why he chose to still live on Mulholland Dr in Beverly Hills when he has no money is beyond me...

The one thing I really like about Harbaugh is that he has weeded out these poor character guys. His read on Chris McAllister was spot on.

I didn't read anything here that tells me that McAlister is guilty of anything, or that he's broke.
All I see is one side of the story and being that McAlister is an NFL player and the fact that money was brought up gives me reason to believe that this story probably has many holes in it.

TMZ?
Although they did break the Michael Jackson stories. No reason to think it isn't true.

For purposes of full disclosure I will say that I have never been a CMac fan. Still, being a divorce lawyer, I smell "spin-doctoring" here. There are many pleadings in divorce cases that are full of USDA BS and many that are done by bottom-feeders that want the attention. Regardless of CMac's history, I am not biting on anything like this until the case has run its course. And the media will SURLEY report on any inaccuracies of the story.
What atheletes go through in domestic cases is the same that we peons experience. There is just less media attention to us.

no doubt there are two sides to every story...
But I also think CMac is obviously embroiled in some big drama here, and that's why I'm glad when 70% of Baltimore was screaming at the Ravens for not going out and re-signing him when he got cut by the Saints, Ozzie did not let public opinion blind him. CMac has a LOT of off the field stuff going on and to get involved in that, even just as the team employing him and nothing more, was just not something we needed last year. Despite the fact that Ivy and Walker were not world beaters at CB, I'd still take them last year over a CMac (who many people vaulted to HoF status when he only played in two games for NO) just because they were quiet, they (for the most part, except for FW) did their jobs, and they didn't get us (again, exception FW) get us into trouble as an org.
