RAVENS ROSTER MOVES

The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran CB Travis Fisher and rookie free agent S Brad Jones Monday morning, executive vice president/general manager Ozzie Newsome announced.

Both Fisher and Jones participated in the Ravens’ full-team minicamp on a tryout basis two weeks ago.

An eight-year NFL veteran, the 5-10, 189-pound Fisher has played in 90 career games (74 starts). He has totaled 342 tackles (300 solo), adding nine interceptions for 260 return yards and two touchdowns. Fisher saw action with Seattle in four games during the 2009 season. He was originally selected by St. Louis in the second round of the 2002 Draft, playing five years with the Rams (2002-06) and two others (2007-08) with Detroit.

Jones, a 6-1, 202-pounder from the University of Cincinnati, started all 13 games for the Bearcats in 2009. He produced 52 tackles (40 solo) on the season, also totaling 3.5 sacks (-10 yards) and one pass deflection.

• Intercepted Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford of Oklahoma in 2008 and also had an interception at Akron.

• Started all 12 games this season for the 12-0 Bearcats, making 48 total tackles including 3 1/2 for losses.

• Graduated Dec. 12 with a degree in communications.

Jones is a 6-foot, 192-pounder with a 39-inch vertical leap and a 4.53 speed in the 40-yard dash
He also registered a 10-05 broad jump and a 4.22 in the 20-yard shuttle and a 6.78 three-cone drill at his campus Pro Day workout.

Cincy invited him but didn't sign him.
